The V700s were road legal, but only came with about 4mm of tread from the factory. I had a set in the soft compound, they managed 1500 road miles & two track days, and the grip from them was unbelievable in anything but standing water!

They are in a word: incredible.

I am currently using nearly new P' Spec 2's and did a torrential track day at bedford in them 2 weeks ago, I was surprised with how well they performed and due to the track temps had no issues with overheating, beading etc, a very good tyre in the wet compared to a lot of others I have driven...

Could be a multitude of things you have done wrong mate, but those lights will need a Renault System to turn off I believe, even our Snapon Ethos won't do it.

Prada Spec 2s, can be had for £65 a tyre in 15 inch. Chased Porsches at Bedford in the wet last weekend and they were superb (plenty of tread!).

Re: does jms do gearbox refurbishment? We don't do refurbs in house, but we can send the box away for refurbishment by a transmission specialist.

Have you thought about the fixed damping kits that can be had for your cars fitment - usually £4-500?

As above, have seen VERY different prices, at nearly £450.00 parts only it would be hard to justify! Sadly its all a matter of risk and the fact it can't ever happen under our name, would have loved to have been able to offer it mind :(
