im thinking about one of these,so you think its improved engine power lower down the rev range rather than peak power. you do think its worth it though?
the brown connector/sensor is for the instrument panel gauge. the white sensor/connector is the injection coolant temp sensor. youll know if youve got the right one because its got a stupid metal clip that holds it on and makes it a right pain to get the connector off.
maybe the phase 1 only has 1 foglight i cant remember. the bulb will be there in the phase 2 lights as phase 2 do have 2 foglights but there will be no wire for the second foglight on your vehicle as it is a phase 1. is it the n/s foglight that doesnt work?
commen sizes of springs would be 40mm or 60mm drop. both would be fine it just depends how low you want the car to look. there have been many posted pics on this subject. do a search or maybe look in the gallery. anybody got any pics to help the man decide?
just the gaskets or the thermostat housing as well. Never known just the gasket to leak but ive had the thermostat housings becoming distorted before and causing a leak.
open circuit means its definatly faulty, did you check the right one though as the gauge and ecu on older cars use separate sensors. this would affect the engine running so replace it if its open circuit.
the injection ecu doesnt directly control esp/tc but it is part of the system so im not sure if the group n ecu will work on the later 172s which have all the gadgets.
do you mean the bolt that goes through the anti roll bar bush and holds it to the wishbone? complete bolt/bush kit from renault about £8. coolant temp sensors corrode through on the inside. you can check the resistance of it when the engine is cold and see if the resistance reading matches up to...
how do you mean "load noise"? i would have thought even compensators with a spring might make a noise if you let off the pedal quickly as the spring is putting the compensator arm back to its rest position. cant say ive ever noticed any unusual noises from my cup though. dont think you can get...
the reading will constantly fluctuate up and down that is normal. max readings a little high though but this could just indicate a rich mixture and not nes a sensor fault. normally when the oxygen sensor fails the figures dont fluctuate. the figures are fluctuating as they should but are the...
did the obd say anything else like 1,pollutant misfire or 2,destructive misfire? pollutant misfire is a slight misfire which will affect emissions. destructive misfire is a bad misfire that could potentially damage the cat etc.
