The Cup is not a Ph1 though. 80kg is a decent effort stripped from a Ph2.

So that means every other Mk3 Clio looks like the 197, which is a good thing, they all look sporty. All the owners must think "mine looks like the 197!" Win-win situation.
You're right about the 200 though, nothing looks like it from the front! Well, wide mouth frogs like Kermit do.
This happened to me in my Cup, a few years ago. It's lanky legs slid right up my bonnet leaving long dents, fecked my wipers and splatted into the windscreen! I was doing around 60 at the time, so there was not much of a windscreen left!

Just test a few and make your mind up. The 197 mpg is pretty pathetic but the diesels are now getting better overall, imo. I suppose it depends what you really want from the car.
If you can afford the petrol already then you are set to lose more money by selling the 197, so it seems pretty...
