do not drive your car
Its a common fault and if that thing snaps it will get tangled in the path of your cambelt and cause it to jump a few teeth resulting in a fucked head. Change it straight away and find the cause of the problem ( loose pulley ?? )
I seem to remember yoz avoiding the scirroco overtaking him by hitting 6 directional cones as he went into the chicane and having to stop lol ? the big girl :D
Yozzasport clio is fast ( on a track ) theres no doubt about that.
Im not into track days as i think there boring - thats just my opinion and im sure a lot of you think quarter miling is boring...fair do's. My car is set up for sheer straight line power - the rear has been raised by 3 inches, its running 155 tyres on the back with 215 Mickey T's at 12psi up...
If anyone ever has a car go missing put a pic of the car on Ebay in for sale section showing pics of the car and a big stolen sign with reward leading to info - thousands will see it
Get some half inch sockets say between 15 - 19 mm and hold them over the bolts. Which ever has the best fit buy 4 and then smack them over the bolts with a an iron mallet. They should wedge thereselves onto the nut and then just stick a ratchet into the hole and they should come off
V-dubs are boring and there owners are mainly geeks ( round glasses, Ripcurl jackets and baggy trousers ? ) i love going to the V-dub shows and blowing there cars away in a Renault clio using one of there own engines.
Loving the pic of the burnt out V6
If the oval plate number has a 5/ are 0/ stamped on it then the car is an official UK car but brought into the UK by an independant importer - you can legally sell it as a UK car.
Its easily done - you can graft a 2002 > new shape front end on very cheaply and with a 172 grille and a set of nice wheels you will have a nice run about
