yeah dampers will bottom out and end up leaking and ruining your brakes if left leaking long enough, also an mot failure....
better off with -40mm with standard dampers or a full suspension kit with uprated dampers if you want to go lower than 40mm will handle so much better and be less crashy too.
sounds nice with a filter.....
clio gt should have had the 138 engine but as said the 1.6 was proberbly cheaper to produce/lighter and burns cleaner hence why its in there now.
dont get me wrong the 1.6 is a good engine too and loves to get revved....
H&R are best on the market for spring kits then eibach closely behind, dont bother with apex, cheap suspension and rs200 will not have a good out come.......
h&r lower 30mm front 40mm rear, eibachs 20mm front 30mm rear. h&R are around £215 and eibachs are around £155
might want to get some...
guessing you have 195/50/16's???
conti sport contact/dunlop sp/goodyear f1 £90-100 per corner
toyo t1r £70-80 per corner
pirreli p6000 £80-90 per corner
falken ze912 £60-70 per corner
nankgang £55 per corner.
my money would be spent on toyos or go for (4) 195/45/16 and you get better...
starting from tickover.....fail
changing gear to early....fail
not using full throttle......fail
doing it in he rain...........fail
doing it towards a bend.. fail
mine is so much louder/quicker than that.....
have a look on dubmeister or styledynamix plenty of pics on there web sites.....
if you want porsche rims you will need 4x100 vw adaptors and take 3mm off the bore to make em fit over the hubs on clios....
also keep an eye out for some bbs rm splits, they can be had for around £1000
gutted, im not going to be able to make it this year, the mrs has put her foot down and said that we havnt got a hol booked together yet so is looking at being away lemans weekend on purpose so cant even use fcs as a back up, i did say she could come with aswell :-(
google is your friend.......
seen as your new to this ill point you in the right direction, you want to be looking at alloys that are 4x100 pcd and offset of between 35 and 40 with a center bore of 60.1 or above. if you go for new aftermarket wheels from a shop they should give you bolts and...
depends on how much you want to spend buddy, i could start listing splits for 2k without tyres but piontless of your not looking at spending that.......gimmie a budget and ill get listing :-)
out of the two williams you posted links too i would be looking at the 3 simplily because the advert is written better, says alot on my book.
if i had 5k ish to spend on a williams then it would have to be absolutly mint and need nothing.....
looks ace on the coils mate, dont lower it any more, they will settle on the back just takes a few weeks as theres not as much weight them and nose down is the way forward anyway ;-)
