Well for reference pretty sure nick charles in his race 106 gti in the sallon series does like 1.23's? could be wrong though...
Edit my mistake that was an old report..
1.17's in his 106 now.. a 1.23 is about the times the corsa's are doing now..
As long as you change smoothly then yeah they can take some abuse..
Mine was pretty much standard for my first track day except for some upgraded front dics and pads..
All depends how much you wanna spend really!
Hardest setting on the rear to drive daily? bloody hell you must have some nice smooth roads..
I run mine maximum soft all round for daily hacking..
Konis that is btw..
No pics but my dad, mum and even my step dad have had some cool cars..
Never tell them that though.. ;)
Hill climber Datsun 100A (rare 4door aparently)
Alfa sud sprint
Mk1 scirroco
Mk1 XR2
Triumph Stag
Original Mini cooper S
Ex police carlton
Coupe 20vt
911 C4S
911 C2S
'charged VXR8

Another vote for Konis although am running the koni springs as well..
I live in the sticks and car gets abused by the crap roads and loves it..
Used the car on the track and with 888's as well was a unbelievably good compared to standard set up!
Drove my step dads 996 4s then his 997 2s have to say the 2 was nicer car to be in and had the Power pack fitted as well.. the exhaust note on that car was awesome!
Crates of beer fit in the *boot* quite well though mind ;)
