.it goes into defect mode if it loses communication with a sensor or potentiometer due to wiring in open circuit or a sensor fault(complete failure).if the sensor is in circuit just reading the wrong temps the ecu would just adopt a injection strategy for the temps it was reading.if this temp...
if the tracking is ok but the steering wheel is slightly off centre than you can easily straighten the steering wheel up using the track arm/end adjustment.if the steering is pointing to the left then shorten the left track arm and lengthen the right track arm.when i say shorten/lengthen it i...
sounds like the coolant temp sensor had a fault(most likely open circuit somewhere)and the ecu went into defect mode(sets the rpm to approx 2500rpm and you have no throttle control).a temp sensor is rare to completly fail normally just gives false readings.seeing as your temp gauge went down to...
the group n can cope with inlet and exhaust mods(exhausts,ik kits, manifolds, cats etc)but if you go onto serious headwork and cams then you need a remappable chip to get the best out of the mods.
you might lose a bit of power and you certainly wont gain anything with that open i/k kit.its to close to the engine youll just suck in hot air all the time.
yes and ive fitted plenty of these kits in the past.you need to remove the dash top, front bumper, steering cowling trims and instrument panel non of which are hard to remove.some cars already come with the wiring so you dont even need to route that wire through to the stalk.
about 1.6 hrs @ approx £60 a hour and about £60 for the bearing.poss a total of about £160.any decent garage with a press can fit it for you, doesnt need to be a renault dealer.
some people remove the subframe and drop the gearbox alone out from the bottem.some people remove the engine and gearbox.if im just doing a clutch i unbolt the gearbox from the engine and just pull it into the recess in the n/s/f inner wing.there is just enough room to change the clutch.
the o/s and n/s angles are often slightly different due to safety features manufactures build in.eg-there set up so if you let go of the steering wheel they will slightly drift to the n/s of the road.one reason for this is that if you fell asleep at the wheel for example the car will go off the...
you can get a complete kit from renault which includes any reqd wiring, stalk, relays and both foglights.about £135 for the kit and there easy enough to fit.
if the wheel bearing collapes or welds itself together due to the heat(lack of grease)when your driving then you will most likely lose control of the car because your wheel will wobbling all over the place.if its noisy then replace it asap.
poss coolant temp sensor for the running fault
the bearing and noise when braking will be the same thing as when you brake you are putting load on the front bearing so it will make the noise.when you steer right you also put load on the n/s/f bearing so you get the noise.change the n/s/f wheel...
the tensioner etc has already been on the car for a long time so the bearings have had some use.if you dont change it then its going to be on for the same length of time again and if it doesnt last that long and collaspes your going to get some exspensive engine damage.its easy to change and...
done a few similiar faults at work lately with cobra alarms not disarming.everytime its been the alarm ecu.you need to visit your dealer as they have to contact cobra for an authority code to do it under warranty.
was considering the ebiach but they dont lower the vehicle enough for what i want.if you just want to improve the handling without a noticable visible difference then the ebiach seem to be the best.
