    De-cat / Sports Cat

Well it can't make it any worse and it looks a b**ch of a job so it wont be coming off again!! It's allot lighter than the stock cat anyway which might help as my cat back system is pretty heavy!

Gold 255 V6 with large rear spoiler

Agreed would definately look shite on a 1*2 but I quite like them on a V6

does a 172cup have a smaller fuel tank than a non cup

Fuel light comes on when 1 gallon is left. Hence why it comes on at different ranges as it will all depend on your MPG.

    Standard alarm and immobiliser

Not wrong the alarm installed at the docks on import came with an alarm and immobiliser. BUT the cars already come with an imobiliser which works through the key and the imobiliser ring on the igniton. So one imobiliser that works from disabling the alarm and one that works from a...

    comfort and performance?

Prolines for me but then my road is an old briddle path so the sportlines would have caused clearance issues!! They do make a great deal of difference to handling and they are not bright red like the sportlines (which mattered to me as I wanted to keep the car looking standard)

    Standard alarm and immobiliser

The original alarm/immobiliser would have been removed. If the installer had any sense the new alarm will run off of the central locking button on the OEM key but it may not. The key also acts as an immobiliser so a Sport with the standard alarm actually has two imobilisers.

Stop start driving in traffic over 40miles the other day I averaged 34mpg. I think its probably your lambada sensor.

    Torque Steer.

I dont think they torque steer too bad tbh. I only find they do in first and second if your really going for it but its more influenced by the road surface your on. I would say the problem you have is either due to having one crap make tyre and one good one or you have a large tread...

    De-cat / Sports Cat

They are so easy to change on a 182 though that come MOT time you could just whip the standard cat on again if you decide to go for a decat. I'm not sure how the 182's respond to a decat so it might be worth a search to check.

    Stalling in neutral

Possibly needs the idle control valve cleaning or repacing. I would take all the intake apart and give it all a good clean. Whats leaking? oil, coolant etc

    De-cat / Sports Cat

A sports cat is more free flowing then a normal cat so the engine should rev more freely and you will gain torque/power. A decat is just a pipe and so you remove the biggest restriction in the exhaust freeing up more torque and power. No point of getting a sports cat for a 182 as at stock...

    50mpg from my 182!

I do 90 miles a day and get 38-40mpg week in week out. I plod on the motorways though anything above 80 on the speedo drinks fuel! I get quite annoyed if the car ever drops below 35mpg!! I do drive it hard when the roads are clear though!!

Lower arm Disconnected over speed bump!!

^^ If your going to just get it done then I wouldn't do it at a dealership get it done at a specialist or a good garage as it will be tonnes cheaper. If your going to try and get them to pay for it get an inspection done. I also found an angry call to Renault UK helped when I had a problem!
