    Cambelt just gone

    Only because people don't realise when they need doing and/or get it done down a local garage who doesn't have a clue what they are doing. Neglecting the aux belt and pulleys also causes the cambelt to go in many cases.

    Well worth trying to clean them. I just used autoglym interior shampoo. Just give them a good scrub. Its amazing what a layer of grime on the belts will do.

    The set one is 7800rpm but I see no reason why they wouldn't lower it if you asked. I never go above 7k anyway as the power drops off too quick and as said it not particually brilliant for the engine!!

    My front jacking points are fudged as well. I wouldn't let the tyre place use them the other week. I showed them how to jack it up on the chasis rail!!
