Not entirely true, the setups can be re-configured to the specific vehicles hardware but it needs to be done by someone that knows what they're doing or else you end up with scrap.
Here's a nice quick, simple test for you...
Remove the injector rail from the inlet manifold with everything still connected (fuel line & multiplugs). Now up-end it so the business ends of the jets are pointing up. Now crank the engine... you should see the injectors fire.
If they do, ignition...

Correct, its a rally gravel wheel and so by design are heavy and strong. The actual competion units are even heavier and are not for road use.

On a throttle cable setup maybe but on a stepper controlled throttle 0% throttle at idle would not happen as Fred said above because that would indicate the throttle plate was actually closed shut (which requires motor effort to achieve).

The genuine subscription based stuff is okay especially if you work with different vehicles all the time but the older disc based stuff you tend to find on hooky warez sites is shite.
