yes but a cat d can be a few damaged panels or.......cracked sump, battered front end, damaged suspension/subframe and creased roof.
The category doesnt tell you alot about the damage, this is where the aprehension(sp) comes from with these cars.
I could get the plenum side bored out, and could rebuild the current steppermotor into a new package i think.
I dont think there is a straight swap on this engine. :-(
I was thinking of making the inlet at the throttle body larger, I am sure you can buy one off GDI. But I have facilities to do it myself.;)
What sort of gains will it give?
I have probably only launched the car and burnt the clutch a few time in 25k miles, so thought mine should be in good nick.

you got to pick one or the other, its a trade off.
Viper for sound, panel filter for performance, but because there is hardly any difference the Viper is the more enjoyable option, sorts the engine sound out.
