car is booked in for end of march for system development.
after the feedback, we are going to get them to make up a manifold back system, incorporating a decat (tho with expansion box).
this will bring excellent power gains, and be more suitable than the sports cat system.
BTB is a manufacturer of exhausts.
take a look at the other thread in this section about them.
they cost a little more than your regular off the shelf system, but are far superior.
if you can hold on a month or two you will have the chance to buy the best exhaust for the clio ever.
BTB systems will be available soon! so hold on!!!
a bit more info for those interested....
For those of you out there who are evo readers, and more importantly those of you who followed the project Capri story, John Barker enlisted the services of BTB to manufacture the manifolds and systems for a his V8 Capri. I can’t remember which issue...
just an update, my car will be going to BTB, middle of march, for 10 days, for them to develop a system.
once happy with spec, they will put them into production. i will then have the goods to show to people, and the power increases etc.
maybe there will be more interest then.
cheers.
its a track day exhaust system, decat can increase noise to an unsuitable level.
if you really wanted to decat your car (and have hassles of changing it over a MOT time) then you could fit say a k-tec decat pipe.
if there is enough demand for the system, as a decat, then i am sure i could...
Hello,
Shed Motorsport, in association with BTB exhausts are looking into the possibility of producing a track day exhaust system for the renault sport clio 182.
We need to know what interest there is in this system, if it is sufficaint, we will be taking deposits for systems, and when...
doesnt look half as bad in pics as what you made out in initial description. i would be very suprised if they wrote it off.
it looks worse than it is, as its got the red paint etc from other car, but i bet most of that will polish out. what doesnet will juts get filled/fixed/repainted.
so...
i have had a set of justmatz mats in my 182 for about a year now, they still look good as new after a quick hoover, and fit really well.
not the cheapest things in the world, but worth it i reckon!
heated front screen?? since when? my 182 cup dont have that! (or is that why, cos its a cup?)
i am thinking about a tom tom one, anyone know where cheapest to get one is?
work colleagues have taken the piss more about the colour of my inferno cup, calling it a baked bean etc.
but like most, those in the know realise its a cracking car, and respect the 'ring sticker on the boot.
Used to be the same with my saxo VTS, people laugh when you tell them, and i...
remove wheels, remove split pin on bottom inner side of caliper, remove the bar that runs across the bottom of the pads, offer up new pads, wind in the cylinder if need be, stick on the tension springs, put pads in, replace bar, replace split pin, wheels back on, job done!
