Hi TB, I disagree with your explanation of brake fade m8.. sorry .. you have described a contributary factor, not the actual cause. it is the pads to disc area that fade occurs. Joe

woooooooh boy I cant beleive you are planning changes without having the vehicle ?? the brakes are excellent, the power is great.. the straight through WILL decrease power... induction will make little difference. It may be better to get it, drive it, critique it, then consider...

Hi Ben. Most of the talk of brakes this and brakes that are total bs .. if he thinks the list you have there are crap.. he needs to get out more lol ... there are two reasons a pad fades.. glazing of the friction material surface, and / or gasseus build up between the friction material...

I also have new alternators for £80 each, would need to see yours though. If you are in the lancs area let me know, I will take a look. if the ones I have will fit, I will fit it for you for 140 inclusive. Joe

yes, I would insist they change the items that could cause this. engine - needs replacing now ayways... ecu fuel pump assembly in tank.. the ecu, they may well be able to program with a later release of sotware.. the sensors on the engine, MAP, Crank sensor etc, should be changed too...
