yes the guidelines are there for normal road use and dont take into account different oils so there will be some variation between what people are getting.really though a healthy engine should have at least oil pressure around or greater than those values no matter what oil is in it under normal...
no matter how old you are you make a mistake at some point in your life.sorry to hear about the accident mate but thats all it was an accident so try not to beat yourself up about it because it sounds like there was nothing you could have done.
your pressure will be a lot higher when cold due to the oil being thicker.forgot to mention that the quoted figures are with the engine at normal operating tempurature.
put a multimeter across the pump terminals and check there is a feed present when you pull on the wiper stalk.if there is a feed then the pumps knackered.if there is no feed then recheck all fuses and check the wiper stalk.

make sure the bias valve isnt over adjusted(allowing to much pressure through to the rears) although this would only cause them to lock under braking and not make them constantly stick on.sounds more like a sticking caliper etc thats the cause of your problem.you dont want all the braking at the...
check the sealing ring as ben says and maybe fit some new springs.also check the rest of the exhaust is correctly fitted so not excessivly straining the front pipe foint.
the group n ecu might fit but you wont gain anything as the 182 is more powerful anyway.i would have thought the actual ecu on a 182 and 172 are the same its just the mapping thats different.
