you may need a new ecu for the 172 engine swap because the original 172 ecu will have the original vehicles immobiliser code in it which cant be erased.
there is a wire from the ecu to the relay.the ecu supplys an earth to the relay which activates it.the relay has 4 wires to it.2 thickiss wires(1 is a ing feed and one goes to the fan moter) the other 2 thinner wires are 1 is an ing feed and the other is the switchable earth from the ecu).cant...
do they still have the same ride as the ones you have?.ive seen the 30mm ebiachs for 1.2 clios etc but not for the 172 anywhere.any ideas where i could get some.
there is some k-tec lowering springs for the 172(yellow ones that lower it 30mm) just wondered if anybody had got these and what they thought of them(handling,how bumpy/hard is the ride compared to standard springs etc).grateful for any replies.

it sounds like the idle stepper moter is moving etc so possibly a sensor fault making the ecu operate the stepper moter incorrectly.i would check the coolant temp sensor as the fault appears to be tempurature related.
new laws are as rossyt said.70% of the light must come through,so tints can only block 30% of the light out.a lot of cars comes with window tints not far off this i would imagine.windscreen cant be tinted full stop.personally i think its b****cks because i wanted to tint my windows and now i...
probably a faulty wire between the ecu and the fan relay.had one like this before and the actuator wire from the ecu to the relay had corroded through in the loom.
remove the engine cover to make room(plastic cover held on by four 30 torx bolts).look down the back of the engine on the left hand top corner.you will see the bottle.has a black cap with a wire on it.
