they do one but its an additive so you add it to the oil rather than replacing the oil with it if you get what i mean.

the ecu controls the fan via a relay in the engine fuse box on the n/s/f inner wing.what happens when you unplug the temp sensor on the engine? check the relays as they suffer from being corroded by water ingress.

thats correct.the computer has a defect mode where if there is an open circuit on the inj temp sensor it constantly runs the cooling fan.if you unplug the sensor and the fan kicks in you know all the wiring,relays etc are ok.the problem would then seem to be the sensor itself.

most 1.2 and 1.4 energy engine clios had stepper moters.some of the very last ones did have an air valve(very late phase 3)

remember that the rear caliper pistons have to be wound back in as well as squeezed at the same time.

speed sensor for the injection is part of the speedo cable itself.replace the cable as a first step(they are cheap).have a look at the coolant temp sensor as well.

the metal computer cover can be a pain to get off sometimes but other than that its an easy job.

the 3 main things that cause non start problems on new clios seem to be:- 1,decoder ring 2,key transponders 3,tdc sensors

get a gen renault bearing and someone decent with a press to fit it for you.maybe just a one off then mate.

the manifold would be a peice of piss to change.bet the parts pricey though.

the manifold nuts/bolts are a bit awkward to get on but not that bad.

sounds like an intermittant fault with the decoder ring(aerial around ing switch that picks up the transponder key)
