very strange that one.the hazard switch should have a permanent feed to it from the battery.it makes me think something hasnt been wired up correctly.have you noticed anything else on the car that doesnt work or that is strange? have you checked all the fuses? will have a look at a wiring...
had a few part numbers for a group n ecu sent me but they arent avaliable through the uk dealer network.checked on the computer which is linked to the renault uk parts distributation centre.ah well it was a good idea whilst it lasted.hillpower etc must get them direct from a contact in france.
starting saving liam if i was you and it wont be that long before you will be able to afford something faster.doing a major conversion on your new clio will be a waste of your money in the end.
renault parts/involvement etc though.its just that the parts arent avaliable from the dealers because it is just designed for their racing cars and wasnt designed to be sold to the general public.the group n ecu is just a much a renault ecu as the road going standard unit.its even got a renault...
the amount of money it will cost to do the conversion and the amount it would devalue the car surely its not worth it.you would need all the wiring looms(inc dash loom) and all the immobiliser parts(uch for example) to carry out an engine swap using these new engines.you would also need the...
i can see what your saying but i dont have an explanation.every old clio i have worked on has had a separate decoder unit even the ones where the plip just does the central locking and there is no immobiliser.is it one of the very first model clios then.a phase 1 but a very early version.
check the rubber pad hasnt fell off the plastic bracket that mounts the glass to the regulator.have a listen while you operate the window to see if you can hear where the noise is from and see if some grease will stop it.spray all the glass runners as well.
take off the door panel, grease all the moving mechanism parts, have a good look round/listen when you operate the window and check that non of the visible 10m nuts are loose.
try greasing the regulator and check all the mounting bolts are tight.check the glass to regulator mounting point is secure and the clip is securely fitted.
when i fitted my hillpower kit i left the original cold air feed (that goes down towards the front wheel arch)in place as well as fitting the air feed supplied with the kit.
^^you get a recon turbo cheap enough as well though.^^
i wouldnt stick a gtt or a valver lump in a new clio as it will cost you money and probably devalue the car quite a bit.carry out the mods avaliable like exhausts etc and start saving for something faster if i was you.
he might mean the emergancy braking system which some lagunas have.not sure if the clios have got it.this is a system that applys maximum braking assistance if the computer detects that you are doing an emergancy stop.there is a sensor that detects how fast the pedal is being pressed and a...
there is also a nut which is underneath the mount that fixes the bracket on the gearbox to the rubber mount.this is normally the nut that works loose and causes the main stud to shear.
