I have one of these to complement my other cameras. Fits nicely in a shirt pocket.

Never going to set the world on fire, but turns on instantly and has practically no shutter lag and a very fast AF system so...
I had a chipped 306 HDi Dturbo. Didn't set the world on fire but was miles better than standard. Great chassis too. Guy who did mine reckoned that ones he'd done before were between 115 and 120 bhp, but the extra midrange torque was were it really made the difference.
I'm still on my first set of PE2's.... tbh I'm yet to see what all the fuss is about... but they're more confidence inspiring that the A539's I had before!
Agreed. The red ones look very little like the pics above either - Much more orangey when the sun hits them and when they're dirty they look likt the paint has faded. lol.. Black hides the lines of the car making it look like a 1.2. Silver shows the lines, looks good even when dirty but is...
No point buying a non Cupped 182. You may as well save yourself a few grand and buy a FF 172.
Other than that get either a 182 Cup or 182 Cupped FF.
Decent 172 Cups are hard to come by and have a nasty habit of ending up in hedge bottoms in the winter time (hence why they are more...
No numbnuts. you've missed the point. In fact you've taken my post completely out of context. Maybe I should have put a wink at the end of it - It was said tongue in cheek. I wasn't suggesting that anyone would actually do it!!
However, if Cup owners don't want all that, how come once...
Agreed. My front end is battered... I like to think of them as battle scars. lol.
*note to self - don't ever let a woman near my car*
I should stick to painting your nails love!!!
About time too!! Fantastic site. I think you might getting busy over the next few months Ben. Congratulations!
PS How old are you? I find it interesting that you measure in imperial!
Roy, step away from EVO magazine. In the real world I can assure you that's not always the case. More often than not, granted, but not always.
At least the 172 Cup was a real 'Cup' and not a marketing ploy like certain later models....
The gear ratios are differnt in the ph1 172. Hence why the ph2 is pretty identical speed wise due to shoreter gear ratios and the Cup is the quickest of the lot - Just not by as much as some might have you believe
But with turinis (which save about 5kg/wheel!) and no spare that deficit is down below 50kg.... which is about a full tank of fuel..... Although the Cup will always feel that little bit sharper due to the suspension set up etc. Like Gareth says, it's a compromise. I wanted the looks of a Cup...
I'm only going from memory of the standard car 1/4 miles times I've ssen on here. On average the ph1 seem to be a little slower, but we're talking the square root of f**k all. I'm pretty sure on the road it'd be down to driver and simply whether or not you have a quick one or not.
I'm pretty...
