Sounds like the steering is the same as my missus mk3 1.4 Dynamique. It feels so unnatural the way it trys so hard to straighten itself when the wheel is just off centre. Really strong resistance around the centre, then you turn it so far and it goes really light on you. Feels horrible and makes...
Mine used to move to the left just like that. My problem was the bracket that Charlie fitted ( small black triangular rubber) - The ehxhaust was expanding and moving back - It didn't have enough travel and once the bend in the metal hit the black rubber bracket it was pushing the exhaust left...
Yes it's stupid question. lol. They are identical. Only 'mechanical' changes as such were to the suspension components and geometry. Engine and drivetrain are identical.
I wouldn't be entirely surprised if there were very minor changes from year to year though, but they should be identical.
It's for a whole ECU. Think it was £270.
The beauty of it is that you have your standard ECU as a spare should you wish to return your car to standard at any point in the future.
They are a very simialr thing. The are essentially a fixed map for the F4R that is designed to accomodate breathing mods amongst other things (opens throttle faster too).
