Hence why 'track' is in inverted commas.... ;) I guessed it was an old airfield or soemthing but I never expected to be that rough! Perhaps it's just Ali's terrible lines.... ;)

    Ali's second track outing...

Is it just me, or does the 'track' seem rougher than The Jesus's arse? The cars bumping all over the place!!

I have the Renault GrpN on my ph2 172 and it's 7800... although it sounds that bloody rough above 7krpm I never take it there. lol.

You mean if they made it as capable as a chipped xbox running Xbox media centre? Until such a time I won't bother!

What Car - road test of 197

Sounds like the steering is the same as my missus mk3 1.4 Dynamique. It feels so unnatural the way it trys so hard to straighten itself when the wheel is just off centre. Really strong resistance around the centre, then you turn it so far and it goes really light on you. Feels horrible and makes...

What Car - road test of 197

I'm not entirely surprised. Peak power 7250 rpm and a 7500 redline. Electronic Power steering. The clues are there!!

    New ProSpeed Exhaust!!

Mine used to move to the left just like that. My problem was the bracket that Charlie fitted ( small black triangular rubber) - The ehxhaust was expanding and moving back - It didn't have enough travel and once the bend in the metal hit the black rubber bracket it was pushing the exhaust left...

    The Airbox mystery???

    Did they? Are you sure?

    The Airbox mystery???

Yes it's stupid question. lol. They are identical. Only 'mechanical' changes as such were to the suspension components and geometry. Engine and drivetrain are identical. I wouldn't be entirely surprised if there were very minor changes from year to year though, but they should be identical.

    GrpN ECU vs. Remap

It's for a whole ECU. Think it was £270. The beauty of it is that you have your standard ECU as a spare should you wish to return your car to standard at any point in the future.
  25. L

    GrpN ECU vs. Remap

They are a very simialr thing. The are essentially a fixed map for the F4R that is designed to accomodate breathing mods amongst other things (opens throttle faster too). I have a group n on my 172 ans it was £250 odd from Hillpower for a whole ECU not just a map. It's the single best mod...

    197 Recaro's

They look very nice, that's for sure. I just hope if you get them as an option you don't have to get a mismatched poverty specced reaer bench.
