TB1 and BarryD..
the turbo IS designed for this engine.. there is already an F4R variant with Turbo...
regarding the scooby.. you may well be correct.. but the exhaust turbine on the td04 is certainly capable of flowing the required cfm within its safe operating limit. The difference...
see if you have a local motor factor (PartCo or similar)
they sell the long reach 6 sided.. or, as craggy says, find a snap on rep and get them from there.
Joe.
Simon.. If I can get 10 orders I can get another batch of units from abroad.
but, would need the 10 definite orders
Adam, the gearbox is fine if in good condition to start with... the cltch ill need uprating.. but I have access to the official turbo clutches.. worst case is find one...
the engine can remain in the car, fitting is straight forward.
An adapter plate goes inbetween the oil filter and the filter housing and 2 pipes come off this.
they go to a small oil radiator mounted at the front in the airflow.
the oil is circulated around the engine and then around...

I also use halfords pro series.
they are bloody excellent, and have a lifetime guarantee.
stick with them !
for workshop fittings.. (Engine hoists, engine stands, dial gauges etc etc, I use macinemart and screwfix.. again, both good quality for the purpose.

Hi Chun, nice work. !
looks fine.
the only thing to remember is that the figures are theoretical, accuarate mostly.. but the main factors are-
how much can the engine stand ?
how much can the gearbox and drive stand ?
how much can the driver stand ?
the heat generated by the...
Hi Tim, it wouldnt effect the power on the rollers if the fault is a catastrophic failure such as this.
one minute its fine, next it goes bang..
could be also caused by an injector fault (Reduced flow = lean) as there is no lama closed circuit at wot..
lean = heat = piston expansion =...

unlikely to be mains..
sounds like a piston sieze.. then a rod snap.. and a rod with nowhere to go - but outa the sump
the piston never goes out, its usually the meal around the little end (gudgeon pin) that breaks and causes a grenade
sounds like a manufacturing fault that went...
