if you cant retap the threaded hole then i would remove the other torsion bar and knock it from the inside.lube up the splines before you refit so you can get it out easier next time if you have to.be careful not to damage the inner set of splines when your knocking it out.
i know tell me about it.is that 185 for 1 cam or for the pair and do you need a chip as well or will they run ok using the standard ecu.if yes what bhp wouyld you expect to get when just using the cams and a standard ecu?
cheers,jay
no because the bumpers are bigger on the cup/172 and the cup splitter is hard plastic so cant be flexed/bent to fit.somebody may have done it but i bet it was a struggle.
some early clios havent got them.they were introduced because of sunroof leaks.if they have got some the pipes attach to the front corners of the frame on the inside of the car.remove the sunroof interior trim and pull down the roof lining slightly to have a look.
i would get a new seal because mastic is a pain to remove if you have to take the frame out again.remove the roof lining trim, remove interior light/trims,remove sunroof moter, pull down roof lining slightly, undo the 16 10m frame bolts, pull of the drain pipes at the front corners and lift out the...
thank god its not just mine then!! mine does exactly the same in mornings or when its been washed etc. always presumed its a drainage pipe that leads out somewhere safely i.e. not inside my car!
anyone know?
that is normal due to there being water drainage channels in the sunroof.
they,ve only got 2 seals.the part number i gave is for the frame to roof seal thats comes like a thick roll of tape.the glass seal can normally be sorted by it being cleaned and a small smear of grease put on it.if it has drainage holes they are at the front of the frame in the corners.
just take the return pipe of the bottle and let the pump do the rest.refit the pipe, fill with oil,run the system again for 2 mins and then pull the pipe off again,do this a few times and then refit the pipe.fill with fresh fluid, job done.
the torx(normally 40torx) screws hold the runners to the seat frame.to actually remove the seat there is 4 16m nuts that you get to from underneath the car.
not when its continually being mixed and pumped around under high pressure it doesnt just turns the fluid pink/white and could damage the pas pump internally.defo needs completly flushing out.
