They sound lovely.
It's not cheap, but it's a complete kit elbow, blanking plate, plug for accoustic valve filter oil etc etc and isn't oo bad compared to the viper etc.
I've had the same... I'm going to drive there next week and knock on his door lol
I understand he is a very busy guy - His work is in demand, and for good reason.
With the odd exception, standard v's standard, there's very little in it in a straight line. Little enough for that piece of biological matter at the controls to make the biggest difference.
Another main factor in straight line performance is whether or not you get a 'fast' one from the...
Yup. He did 5 spray outs on cards and put them on top of the car. Rev 5 was spot on - the others looked completely different colours!!
Some had more brown in, some had more black, pink - allsorts of random colours. Mines pretty much spot on though.
The paint code is MV640 iirc.
When a friend of mine painted my Cup spoiler, there were 5 different revisions of Iceburg Silver in the Renault colour swathes.
Need to get mine sorted. Only moves about 3/4" to the left, but it's so tight in th cutout it's quite noticeable ( to me anyway)
They sound awesome when hot.... even pop a bit on overrrun. I'm still loving mine 4 months on!!
Best piece of advice I could give anyone, especially this time of year, is the two bucket method. I was gobsmacked how much s**t ended up in the rinse water - and the wash bucket was clean!!
No problem mate. Looks spot on
Does your's move far once it's warm?
Having had a ProSpeed it would take a lot to get me to go anywhere else. Charlies a legend. And he swears like a trooper too. lol.:approve:
The stainless polishes up lovely with some AG metal polish too..
Bloody copycats. :(
Sound lovely don't they
The sound when on cam is totally 100% p**n. It's addictive. You'll get about 20mpg for the first few weeks.....blipping the throttle and generally hooning it everywhere...
If I were starting all over again in t eh search for a hot Clio (I've had my 172 for over 2 years and still love it to bits lol) then I would probably get a 172 Cup or a Trophy.
They're the best Renaultsport Clios to date in terms of performance and exclusivity. But don't take it that means...
The Rsi is a bit like a VTR imho... A good car, but not in the same league as it's 16v bretheren.
If you wanted to 'piss on things from the lights' you bought the wrong car.... the twisties are where you should punch above your weight as it were.
Yup, as above.
My mother washed my MF and now there so smeary it's unbelievable. In the bin they go.
I have two water magnets - One for the bodywork and one for doorshuts etc.
The bodywork one only ever needs drying...
Winter is not the time for scrubbing you sidewall nobbles off lol. I've been trying and have nearly ended up in a hedge. lol.
Good job the Clio always gives you a warning and a second chance!!
