I know you said you dont want any outrageous colours like orange or green but in all honesty I think the 1*2's would look awesome in alien green, worth a go if you're a spray by trade
I can imagin your car getting more attention in that colour than in white
was just after some pics on ya car mate ;-)
They look decent, would look better on its arse though :D
How much did you pay for wheels and tyres all in?
ive kept up, beaten and got beat against 182's all be it a car length when i was beaten but still that particular car is quicker than mine
I think its luck of the draw whether you get a good one, or if you can drive for that matter
I've got 3mm spacers on mine, all be it to clear the coilovers but still ;-)
IMO ph1's should have the ph2 rear with a recessed exhaust, looks more sporty and aggressive to go with the front end
ph2 sidestrips and colour coded handles are a must for me, more so because you don't have to...
That's quite light for a wheel, cheers
I'm quite shocked at the one reply on this thread, I thought this would be a common subject with all the performance know-it-alls I come accross in so many other threads
Right guys, im currently rolling on a set of 15" o.z f1's, just the renault versions that came with the car, and I want a change probably in the new year
I want some 2118's but as they're generally meant for rallying etc im guessing they will be quite heavy?
Anybody know the weights of them...
the more I read about the SC clio's the more it makes me think the things that have happened meaning I keep the sport is actually a blessing in disguise, next time theres an RST RR day on I really need a blast out in this :) would love a go in the ph2 but if its a ph1 i can pretend its mine ;-)
I would've thought a car with forged bottom end and possibly alltered compression (not to sure the ins and outs of compression ratio's) but id imagine it would hit 200hp with a good live map :)
what type of cams are they? You will have to report back as to the driveability of the car
looks awesome mate, I would love to do this to mine
I asked paul ( i think it was him, guy operating dyno) and he said its a £4k drive in drive out service
As for the 2.5 + 3.5k comment, Id rather spend 3.5k on a cheap car than spend 3.5k on a more expensive cost, all in you've got a car for...
Tony popped down to see me today to get his car protected for the winter
Basic plan was to wash, clay, glaze, seal and wax the car, and seal the wheels for the winter
As the car arrived
one with mine
No pics of the process but some afters in the garage!
tbh tony's car wasnt really...
If its made by AAS the quality should be faultless, however the customers choice of backbox is somewhat chavy
I had a vts in amazon green as above, was a bit less 'chav' though
heres a couple of pics for inspiration
Supersprint Race only exhaust....very subtle
A few of the car just before...
Alrite guys, basically looking at getting my inlets matched very shortly and was going to upgrade to ptfe gaskets,
First question: Is there a gasket between lower inlet and the head and do ptfe make one?
Second : Do ptfe do a gasket to go between lower and upper inlets?
third: cheapest...
redline is a decent mag, I wish PFC did the same and feature more cars, i picked up my issue today of pfc and was totally disapointed that they had 1 feature car
I also bought this months issue of PVW which is possibly the best magazine ive ever read!
was walking out of work when all i could hear was a loud beeping coming from an angry clio owner, person had white/blonde hair driving and was rather annoyed at a blue/purple kia
was funny to watch
