why cant you cut the exhaust.if you cut it in the right place you can rejoin it with sleeves from renault.

the hillpower one with the heat sheild looks pretty good for the 172 i think.thats what im getting i reckon.

check all your brakes for wear and fluid leaks but it sounds like a master cylinder fault.

them backboxes are a fine art.once you done a few though you get the knack of it.why buy a scrappy exhaust new ones are pretty cheap.

you can get injector seals.get a seal kit of a newish clio im sure it will fit the injectors look the same.

you cant run it totally on gas without having problems.you couldnt just use the same gas as petrol because it would destroy the engine internally(to exsplosive).the pump also reqs deisal running through it all the time for lubrication.it sounds like a very complicated and exspensive conversion...

could well be the abs.upon the startup the abs computer operates the pump and all the solenoids to carry out a self test.on some vehicles you can feel this through the brake pedal or even hear it.the abs assembly is on the n/s of the bulkhead.is the noise from that area?

eh? you cant run a deisal on lpg.

we service council vans with the lpg convertion and they run the same on either gas or petrol,you just have to warm up the engine before you switch to gas.why on a 172 though?if you wanted mega economy to potter about why dont you just get a more economical model like a dci.

check the brake fluid reservoir level.

aux belt is spring tensioned.maybe a weak tensioner or noisy idler wheel/pulley.

aerial base mostly but sometimes the sunroof frame as well.

the ones that we have had that didnt work only seem to do it very slightly now but the mod greatly improved the problem.i think the only way forward is for everybody to keep ringing customer services to get the point across and maybe they will take notice.also dealers should submit tech alerts...

yes sure do.it is activated when the map sensor reads around a 1000mbar which only happens under full throttle(no restriction by throttle butterfly so no vacuam affect in the manifold)

we dont have access to specfic ecu maps.when we reprogramme it uploads the latest software applicable for that car/computer.you cant get around it because you have to put the original vehicle details in as well before it lets you carry out any programming.the 182 has other differences as...
