hello everybody.is there anybody on here with a 172 fitted with a magnex that would be prepared to meet me somewhere so i could have a listen to it? im from the chesterfield area. also what is peoples views on the magnex?(are they really as quiet as everybody says i want an exhaust i can hear...
check in your alarm manual but i think to disable ultrasonics you turn the ing on/off two times and then lock it with the plip.there is a audible beep to tell you there switched off.it only works once so you would need to do the procedure every time you lock the car to keep turning them off.
probably because it was a renault show car and was never issued with one.your right about the plates though, numbered ones are not avaliable from renault.was your service ok? seen it in the workshop this morning
should at least crank for 15 seconds(some other renaults cut the starter after that) but on clios i think they just crank until you let go of the key unless there is a fault as explained before.
if he pulls the relay out then it might not blow anyway because half the circuit now open so it wouldnt show any problems on the after relay side because that is now inactive.your best to fit a new relay to eliminate it.
i know there is a technote for the knock from the shocker tops and one for a noise from an exhaust heat sheild but ive seen nothing about this noise.do you know the tech note number?
dont think there is an official fix for this.as far as renault are concerned its normal due to the mounts being under a lot of strain when it wheel spins.will let you know if i hear anything new though.
sounds like the ecu mapping is causing this and like previously said its software not designed for the normal road after all so its probably normal.have you tried replugging in your original ecu to see what happens?
what? buy the gen arms from renault.they are cheap enough and you wont have this hassle.the track arm screws into the rack so if anything its male but every renault one ive seen has been the same.
time up the engine and fit a new belt.see if it starts but i bet its bent the valves.use a gen belt because they have timing marks on them so you can double check youve got it right.the last cams i bought come with the timing disc.you need the vernier pulleys so that you can get the cam timing...
lets try again.
top row of relays from the left

599-coolant pump relay
bottem row of relays from the left
569-coolant pump timer relay
236-fuel pump relay
alright jamie.
fault 1-your clio should crank until you let go of the key.the only situations where it wouldnt crank/cranks only for a few seconds would be a faulty starter moter(rare though) or an immobiliser fault(more commen).if the vehicle(uch) cant detect a signal from the...
