Thats how I use mine. Never let me down yet. Mine goes to 32 miles left and then goes blank. Never done more than about 15 miles with the light on though.

Yup. Sounds like you have the accessory supply (turns on with the ignition) connnected to the permanent live input of the head unit, thus your head unit has no voltage supply to the memory when the ignition is off. Check with a multimeter if your not sure.

Under normal operation, the cruise control will disengage following any action on the clutch or brake. As far as I know the Clio isnt brake-by-wire. Regardless of what the cruise control is trying to do, you stomp the brakes and youll slow down. Trying to apportion any blame to the Cruise...

CTR is faster, better built. Clio is better handler, more fun, cheaper, far better specced and doesnt look like a wedge of cheese.
