I've only ever used PE2's on the 182 and fancy trying something different so I can fully rate the Michelins especially as they're about £320 cash. I'm only managing to get 18k miles out of a full set of 4 swapping fronts with rears every couple of months, and I need to replace my 2nd set before...
30,000miles? I'm on 36,000 now and I need to change my 2nd full set of Michelin PE2's
I've only ever used PE2's and fancy trying something different so I can fully rate the Michelins especially as they're about £320. I've narrowed it down to:
- Conti Sport Contact 2's @ £270
- Yokohama...
I'm at Chelmsford uni every thursday at the River Mead campusso far I've seen a:
- trophy
- Racing Blue 182 with no stripes
- 05 Black gold 182 with cup packs
- Artic blue 182
Some of these must be on here. I haven't seen any CS stickers in windows but then I don't have one either.
make sure it's for the 2.9 V6 Espace as it's the same size as the Ph1 clio
This is the K&N airfilter that I bought to fit my V6 Espace airbox and it lists it for 97 and older...
Saturday evening about 6ish came off the A12 and into Hatfield Peveral, heading towrards Chelmsford direction. Was parked a little way down on the left. Racing Blue 182 with large white stickers down the sides saying CUP etc, a bit like those that came on the 197
Haven't got round to polishing the glass yet, but gave the car a quick wash and detailing spray last week inlcuding the side and rear windows. driving up the M11 sunday morning in the heavy rain and the side windows stayed clear for the whole journey. the rear window cleared lovely with every...
Tut tut! me a chav??? Although I did have a guy in a chavy black Saxo VTS with white wheels trying to play along Millenium way on the way out, he didn't like it when I came past him.
I'd been for a drink in Fowlers Farm with a friend, was trying to stay away from town as the football was on. I...
More than likely to be Sam, he's friends with one of the guys that works there. tungsten grey on anthracite 5spokes? He's hoping to pick up a raider over the next few weeks and rebuilding it so should be nice.
Have you seen the black Mk1 clio 16v with white wheels? it's now turbo'd. didn't...
SRP and EGP does still say not to get on plastics or glass, and to remove with glass cleaner, but what harm would it do. My local stores don't stock rainex, but I'm hoping I can get the same effect from polishing.
Plus I'm hoping that it will stop all the debris sticking to it, which I don't...
Years ago, when cleaning the car I would occassionally polish the glass just to clean it properly. This was a long time before I found clay.
I'm now thinking of using SRP and EGP on the windscreen to help the water bead off when driving, a bit like the RainX stuff. plus I'm hoping that the...
Mk2 Ph1 Silver 172 parked along Bradford street in Braintree this morning with 'for sale' signs in the windows.
Looked fairly tidy as I drove past, couldn't see a CS sticker in the back though
I'm with priviledge, and they have been for the last couple of years the cheapest to cover my 182, I'm now 25.
BUT!!!! I was involved in an accident almost 18months ago and they have done NOTHING when the other driver involved was quite clearly in the wrong.
I appreciate what you're saying, but again I stayed on the right side of the road, and was only overtaking as I accelerated off the roundabouts untill traffic was upto speed. And if I saw a car pull out and do the same coming the other way I pulled back in.
Yes I know I overtake and take...
Are you talking about trading it in for the Focus or the Fiesta ST? I think I would prefer the Fiesta. I test drove the Focus and thought it was quite civilised and comfy, quite boring really. Yes it is rapid but not as involving or fun to drive as the clio is. but thats my opinion only of...
I had a sat on my white R5, they were polished with the vents around the outside painted in R5 Raider blue. Looked awesome!
I paid £280 with cheapo tyres, ran them for 18months as it was a 2nd car and sold them for £350. If people new the kind of demand there is for these they'd sell for £££'s
Re: East Anglia Meet - October 5th 2pm
I'm sorry people but I'm not gonna make it, and it's only half hour or so away from me :dapprove: And I was out karting on some 2stroke ex race karts a few weeks back so would have loved it.
I'm off to sunny Cornwall again on Saturday 4th for a week. Our...
Bic, can you give me a price for the following parts but lacquered so i can polish straight over them. It's really boring having to mask round everything so it doesn't leave white marks everywhere.
rear bumper insert
foglight surrounds
front splitter
Who and where is doing a windscreen that cheap. I've got a lovely stone chip and cracked and is now just over a foot long along the bottom from chasing after Bassyboi
Not too far away either in Braintree, maybe see you at Southend on the 20th.
Problem with this forum is there's far too many Liquid Yellows about now :rasp:
Pulled onto a farm in Tiptree and saw a lovely Blue 16v clio, all the plastic trim and bumpstrips and bonnet vent painted black, Mk2 wheels in black with polished rim. looked very nice.
Left a flyer on the windscreen so hopefully they'll have a look on here
I'm with them, but no mods to declare. reasonable quotes though.
BUT, I had an accident july 2007, someone pulled out of a give way side junction, forcing me onto the wrong side of the road, then proceeded to turn right and into the side of me. They still have done nothing. I don't hear...
Once it's warmed I work them hard.
I recently test drove a new Focus ST and scared the salesman, pulled onto the bypass and gave it full beans from 25 to 90 magic buttons. thru it into a few roundabouts until the back end stepped out, then blasted down some country lanes until the saleman...
