I drove over to Chelmsford between 7-8 but that was it.
Had my dad take it in to work the other day and he said he saw a guy in a LY R26 and thought he waved. was it you?
I saw you on the A120 at Mcdonalds roundabout and followed you down to the Tesco roundabout where you pulled off back towards the town.
I did pull up along side you but don't know if you saw me through those tinted windows ;)
Cheers for all your advise guys, spent the day using AG SRP and EGP for the first time and I must say I'm pretty pleased with the results.

After a bit of a full day cleaning, I decided to go for a blast and find a nice spot:
Farmers in a nearby field had the binoculars out trying to work out what I doing :S . They must have thought 'what a geek' :rasp:
I see the same one driving towards Braintree in the mornings and away towards colchester in the evenings on the A120 about once a weekbut I don't think he's on here
My best with the fuel light comming on a few miles away from the petrol station was 374miles, so still another 20/30 miles to go. But I've had it as low as 230miles from a full tank when I spent a week in North Wales driving round the hills and mountains. Was a very fun week
Thanks for the replies, that's cleared that up nicely.
BUT. I should leave the car after EGP approx 12-24 hours before applying wax?
It's not garaged overnight so if I leave it over night it'll need a light wash to clean the surface again of any light dust and dirt etc before I apply the...
More questions!!!!!
I need a bit more guidance on the using of SRP and EGP. I've read through plenty of threads now and still a little unsure.
After I've washed and dried the car:
- apply a small amount (50p coin to the bonnet or equivilant) of SRP and work in to the paintwork 1 panel at a...
I'm always trying to get these off mine, especially around the boot/ bumper area everytime I wash the car.
I found AG tar remover will get it off but it takes a far bit of work. I went into my local A1 store and got some CarPlan tar remover. It's much thicker than the AG and gets rid of the...
He hasn't mentioned anything about a 172, and he'd have great fun telling me one wouldn't race him. But then I constantly beat him when I went up against him a couple of weeks back. But I think he's up'd the boost a little since then
Ultimate chav tool :approve:
A neighbour of mine is slowly playing with his 5 Turbo trying to get it running right and quick, and as I had one in the past he always asks me to go out with him or drive it and see what I think.
Everytime we go out, he laps the braintree McDonalds, down Millenium way then back, then down the...
What a debate over such a little topic. :S
As far as water going into the engine, it won't unless you drive through a flood that you really shouldn't be! I had mine fitted in the foglight surround and drove in heavy rain down the motorway with a lot of spray coming up of the road. when I...
No won't let Braintree or Chelmsford touch my car. I use Darlingtons in Harlow.
The thing is, I've got a brand new still boxed aux kit sitting in the garage that I'll use. I'm just thinking that as I had it done not that long ago I could add it to the 48k service and try and spread the cost
Do you really have to leave the AG srp and egp that long before you apply the next coat?
Can someone give me directions on using them, as with my polish and wax, I apply the polish, do another panel to let the first one dry then buff it off, then apply the wax? and how much AG should I use...
Mines coming upto the 36k service in the next couple of months, but I had a new aux kit fitted at about 20k when I had an oil leak from around the cams. Is it still worth me having the whole service, my renault dealer said not to worry and have it done next year?
I'd be interested at £120 for the 172/182 springs, but saying that Kamracing is offering them at that price on his website so I might not wait for the group buy. All depends on wether I could sneak out the money without the girlfriend asking what I'm spending it on
Mine was in for a couple of days last week due to intermittent starting. I got a Honda Jazz!!!! think it was a 1.2, but didn't feel quick enough for a 1.2. steering had absolutely NO feel and didn't re-centre.
I could never go back to having a 'normal' car again I don't think
Is this the same spray as the one supplied with the Meguairs quick clay kit, if not I've no idea what your talking about :o
Can you point me in the right direction?
Hello mate, I've not heard of anyone around Essex doing this, so I tried having ago myself by hand. Wasn't going to splash out for the polisher yet as I've only done it a couple of times. I would say though, it does take me all day to do it properly as I'm still learning. I'd recommend maybe...
My god, I think this was one of my first posts!!! I was surpised when I saw it was back
For the fat juicy tar spots I found CarPlan tar remover will get rid with one wipe whereas AG requires a bit more elbow grease. The smaller hard spots, whether it's tar or other bits of road debris, the AG...
Theres been a trophy in Braintree for a while but he wasn't on here, was for sale recently and haven't seen it for a couple of weeks.
where abouts are you from?
