You won't regret buying the LY, it is an awesome colour and certainly stands out in the crowd. As long as I can still afford to, I plan on keeping mine for the logn term.
and as there were only 70ish made, they warrant a little more than any book pricep gives.
I followed you this morning along the A12, saw you just passed Chelsmford then followed you all the way to Colchester.
Looked nice with the dark wheels
Why use a sealant? I thought that if the polish isn't a a cutting agent, it would seal it, then protect it with the wax. Would you recommend I use both then?
When you wax once a month, do you just wash, dry then apply wax? no polishing. is it possible to build up layers of wax, say once I've...
I'm fairly new to all this detailing and only done the 182 twice now. I wash the car once a week, and when detailing I wash, dry, clay with Megs quick clay, polish then wax with Collinite.
How often should I polish and re-wax? I've read that you should clay regularly to clean of debris, is...
Did it look nice and shiny??? I was cleaning it for hours the night before.
Did you see any other CS on the A120? I generally see a black and a blue 182 going to and from Colchester but they never look
I considor anything over 300miles a bonus!!! Mixed driving of Dual carriageways/ B-roads/ blasting around I'll see anything from 280 to 325miles. Never seen more than 340 and that was all motorway
Friday night about 8pm you followed me near the river as I tried to find my way rouund the stupid carpark diversion that sent me in singles.
Looked like you passenger was trying to take pictures on his mobile as you followed me
I've always got them from the dealer, but I seem to remeber there about £20 but I might be wrong.
Not sure if a motor factors or GSF might be able to get something like that
I've had this trouble several times, and it happened again on Tuesday. I've had the modified TDC sensor fitted aswell. Another cause is the three black relays in the fuse box just infornt of the battery. I think they control the fuel pump, starter motor and not sure on the third. They're...
Most likely was me on Head Street, I came back to the office about half 12ish I think and I come that way. I park behind the town hall on the High Steet
I've recently been using Collinite No. 476s :

and so far I've been really pleased with it and it's nice and easy to apply and buff. I've never waxed a car before my LY 182 and tried this first.
I've now...
Isn't it the same filter as the Ph1 172 airbox? That's what I was going to order for mine when I get the chance. Or are you talking about something different
Silver 182, Reg GJ04 WUY. Induction kit and a big bore exhaust fitted. Leaking rear dampers and front tyres almost bald
It's for sale at Darlingtons Renault garage in Harlow and I'm trying to find out whats been done to it as we think its been chipped
Can anyone shed some light on it?
Try the search function mate, this has been saked so many times theres plenty of oppinions.
Theres the ITG Maxogen, BMC CDA, Pipercross Viper. Main thing to look for is a closed IK with a cold air feed.
Myself and others have gone for a Ph1 172 or a V6 espace airbox with panel filter and CAF
I've just looked through some of the ford mags and saw a test using an escort RS Turbo with standard airbox with panel filter/ open IK/ PX viper. But they only tested intake temps. The viper won, but purely on the fact that it had a CAF, where as the others didn't and there positioned in a...
I have the V6 Espace/ cup airbox (same shape but has 1 larger CAF instead of 2). There's not any real noticeable performance gains, but it does seem a bit more willing to rev. Does sound nice under full throttle though
It is a tight squeeze to get it too fit right but it will go in with...
We saw you at the Mc'Donalds roundabout and followed you towards town and turned off for Stubbs Lane Tuesday night around half10.
I was in my friends tungsten grey 5 Turbo wanting to play
