have a look at the coolant temp sensor.they are prone to being corroded away from the side that sits in the coolant.if thats ok id try a second hand throttle body(the potentiometer + idle moter are on it and not avaliable separatly from renault).
if youve bent the wishbone that much that your wheel is pushed into the arch are you sure you havent bent anything else?(eg-track arm, subframe etc).the anti roll bar link is basically just a bush and cheap enough to replace.I would have to get you a price on a wishbone though but i dont think...
the immobiliser code isnt stored in the keys on the new vehicles its stored in the injection computer and the uch.the immobiliser systems use calculations now instead of rolling codes.the key is sent a calculation to which it answers and the uch/injection computer checks it which will then...
i know but its got to work with a gen renault electrical/immobiliser/diagnostic system so in some ways will have to operate like a genuine computer. i suppose though the people that will only really know would be r-sport seeing as they make this computer.Im sure somebody will find out.
a new 1.2 16v hasnt got a fuel regulator on the injection rail(its now part of the tank sender unit) and only has a feed to the rail not a return as well so you wont be able to fit a boost valve.
all what these resistors try to do is confuse the injection computer into thinking the engine it is at a different tempurature to what it really is so causing the engine computer to use a different stratagy(inj duration, timing etc).on a modern inj system all i could see it doing is causing...
ive had that as well.they told me they have had complaints about the fitting of the exhaust on later models and they are going to look in to it.magnex themselves told me that.
Any gen renault computer will memorise the first code that it receives and thats it.all the current diag equipment cant remove the code.all the computers we recieve from renault are in sealed packages and they wont accept them back due to you cant remove the code once it has been used.people...
if its got a oxygen sensor then its single point injection.a leaking exhaust would create excessive lamda.if its failed on co etc then its most likely the oxygen sensor but you could have a look at the cat to check it.have a look at the cat centre to make sure all the honeycomb material is...
if you dont judge it right than the clutch would still be partially engaged(clutch drag) this would create excessive wear of the gearbox synchros as they will trying to slow the input shaft down and the clutch drag would prevent this.you would still change gear but it could create excessive wear...
the 172 engine has a coil pack(like a 1.2 16v) not individual coils like the other petrol 16vs.i have changed a few of these coil packs for misfire problems in the past.
it doesnt take long. the gauges just fit in the bleed nipple holes.the only trouble is that you cant jack up the car when adjusting because you would alter the gauge readings.you would need to do it over a pit or on a flat bed ramp.
to correctly adjust them you fit a brake fluid pressure gauge to one of the front calipers and one to a rear caliper.you apply pressure to the brake pedal until the front gauge shows a pressure as stated in the workshop manual.the manual will then give you a pressure that the rear gauge should...
if its a 16v clio then back calipers are commen failures.the adjustment mechanism inside the caliper seizes up but renault dont supply repair kits anymore so you have to change the calipers.sometimes if you strip the back brakes and wind the pistons fully back in then the internal adjuster will...
Recon box about £500 then the price of fitting wants adding on.
Energy engine headgasket is a peice of piss to change.make sure you time the engine up before stripping and fit a gen ren cambelt(the belts come with timing marks on them so you can double check youve timed it up correctly).be a...
The driveshaft theory is wrong after all its a flexible joint and should work ok at all angles.are you sure its not an engine mounting due to the vehicle has more acceleration in first due to the ratio of first gear. Are your wishbone bushes ok they might of been worn anyway and lowering it was...
id of thought the only difference possibly might be the rack ratios but i bet a normal 16v rack would fit.You can get reconditioned exchange racks fairly cheap now.Whats wrong with your rack?
Check the caliper piston + slide rubbers/seals are ok and not split.they normally seize because the seals are damaged and let water in.Did you give the hub a clean off before you fitted the new discs?,maybe some rust/dirt trapped behind the disc causing it not to fit flush with the hub.
the injection computer is linked to lots of computers by using a multiplex wiring system.it is linked to abs/esp(both in the same computer),aircon, immobiliser, trip computer, airbag and headlight ballast computers(very new models only).a chip only remaps the injection computers running parameters...
