Those photos, especially the first two, could come back to haunt us clio owners. We get enough grief as it is, without pictures like that in circulation!!!
Not me nate, but I was under the impression that the new 182 comes with heated seats. If this is true, the parts should fit/ be available as the seats are the same, just with different covers iirc. Tomclio182s your man...
You cant tell the difference between Leather and nylon ( or whatever lightweight material they use in a cup), but you can tell youre sitting 3mm lower??
Sorry about your thread getting dirty Pete... I would test drive a Cup before you think of swapping... there really isnt that much...
If you are worried about your battery running flat, buy a better bigger battery... like KDF said, those solar panels would struggle to run a watch, nevermind a car battery!!!
I know what you mean... I went from a 306 Hdi (50+mpg without trying!!) to a 1.4 astra (40+mpg) to my 172.... Its not the worst by any means (Im sat at 32.6mpg - havent reset for about three months!!) but when your pumping it with Optimax, you can feel the difference in your wallet!!!

Lol !! ^^ After a 100 odd mile round trip through the peaks, my 172 now has 14 seperate rattles and squeaks that appear/disappear at various combinations of temperature and engine speed. Renault will have to make something pretty special for me to ever buy another ( unless their build quality...
Ive had my 172 to bits trying to rectify rattles and squeaks. Its like painting the Forth Bridge... its a job that has no conclusion....
As soon as you have silenced one rattle, a squeak of equal or greater magnitude will appear elsewhere in the car. The only truly effective solution I have...
For the main part, altering a 172 so it is similar to the Cup variant would not be too hard.... finding the (lightweight) chip for your shoulder might prove to be one of the hardest parts to source....
Its a conspiracy. Its a damage limitation excercise by a group of underground, hardcore Cup owners to protect their vehicles residual values following the release of the better 182. They are conspiring to wreck as many Cups as possible by inducing some cold and icy weather with their top secret...
