my ABS has only ever cut in the snow... And then it takes you longer to stop than if you didnt have it!! It might take a while to adjust your braking methods, but you wont miss it once youve mastered cadence braking...

My passenger seat rattles like its come loose... Feels as though its not quite clicked back into place. Booked in to Renault on the 20th March, but just wonderd if anyone else had experienced anything similar??

Throw is too long. 4000rpm at 80mph in fifth. Minor gripes really. Other than than that the change its self is quite precise, and the ratios spot on. For me anyways..

That is a strange one!! Surely there is no need for a switched live to go anywhere near the hazards?? If there is no permanent supply to the hazard switch, source a permanent live from elsewhere on the loom ( cigarette lighter maybe??) and wire a feed to the switch. That would be the easiet...

Youd think so wouldnt you?? My 172 rattles like fook (so much so its going back to the garage to get sorted) but my girlfriends 03 Dynamique is rock solid. No rattles, no squeaks, no vibration - nothing!!!

Same in my 172. Is up to half way in a flash, then just sits there...

Jay, have you altered your ECU at all?? Will just having the induction kit harm the engine long term ( running lean??)

The only issue I have with my 172 regards to motorway drivng is with the gearing. 85 in fifth is just under 4000rpm!! Glad I havent got a noisy exhaust!! Otherwise its brill. Nice and comfy.

Welcome to the forum Parky. I have read several threads on K+N flters fitted to 172s actually reducing performance, due to them sucking all the hot air from the engine bay. Jay mate, I take it the standard ECU is adaptable to a certain extent in that it will adjust fueling rates to compensate...
