I think the shift light is a warning that the redline* is approaching as opposed to an actual indicator for the optimum time to grab another gear. When you see the little green stick, blink twice then change gear. Works for me!! *meant rev limiter

Yeah the exhaust should do it chief!! I know what you mean about the badge, though - I have one on my 172 and despite being tiny it does look quite cool....

Same as me!! My birds Dynamique gets about 45mpg on average ( she never resets it either - dont think she knows how to, bless). Its usually a few points lower by the time Ive finished with it though!!

Yeah, some kind of ECU upgrade (Rsport maybe?), de-cat, sealed induction kit (Hillpower, Viper). With all those you may see 10-15 bhp..... Do a search, theres plenty on here about this kind thing...

Alalwys wash the car in sections...... Wash and rinse, wash and rinse. try to keep all parts of the car wet whilst washing so it doesnt dry as you go round!!! Unfortunately a cold overcast day is best for cleaning your car. When Im feeling lazy, I use TurtleWax Wash and Wax which leaves a lovely...

Only noticed these two so far. The glovebox thing is a design/component fault - my missus 03 dynamique is exactly the same, as is her friends Dci.... So thats known as a feature!!!

Bugger. Thought as much. I had hoped I might get 11,500 - 12,000 for mine but I guess that has been shot down in flames if you can get a new 182 for that price!! I think once my car has been repaired, I will be all smiles again....
