For most of us its just a bit of fun...... Youll only find the 172 Cup owners are the ones who get upset about it. Call it what you want mate, its your car!!!
Neil, Ill answer for him, just incase hes gone to bed. There is no 182 Cup. Thank f**k. If there was, wed have another 50 t**sers on here who puff out their chest everytime somebody mentions the word Cup or how it might just be possible that another car could be faster/better.
Yup, been there. Renault replaced a seat runner on mine. Fine now, but still takes a bit of juggling to get it to lock into place.... stopped the rattle though..... trip to the dealer Im afraid mate..... unless your prepared to take the seat out yourself and have a look.. (not a big job I guess...
182 - crap handling??!!:o
My 172 has all the same attributes as described above. Squirms under hard braking, follows potholes and imperfections in the road, feels loose at high speeds, chassis feels a bit on the nervous side.....took some getting used to.... but now I find thats half the...
Not heard a good word about them.... all they seem to do to the Cup is put an (open:o) induction kit, an exhaust (just a backbox) and sprinkle some fairy dust on the engine. I know very little about engines, but is a bit of gas-flow work going to get you 20bhp???
Racing Blue..... looks awesome in the flesh, and really stands out........ nice and original....... Artic Blue is very similar to the Cup blue. Black does look good, but doesnt show the lines of the car off as well as other lighter colours.......
Deffo needs a sixth cog...... 4krpm in fifth @ 80mph!! Bit of a ballache on long journeys. Engine management doesnt seem to know what to do when started from cold - very snatchy and jumpy. Fly-by-wire throttle has a fairly slow reaction time, making it difficult to blip the throttle on...
No idea where youd get one from.....if your after weight saving , have you thought of the tyre repair foam ( stuff thats in the Cup)?? Its not brilliant by all accounts, but better than nothing.....
LMFAO!! Pot.... Kettle..... black.....
The cheapskates comment was obviously a joke, I figured that the Clown smilie may have been enough to get that across. Obviously not. In response to you describing it as a stupid statement, I can only hope that when I grow up Ill be able to make mature...
So youre saying they are useless?? On what information are you basing this theory?? Ahh, I know..... Its because you dont have them!!

Whereas in a Cup you are saved that cost...... at the possible expense of serious injury or your life!! Bargain!!!
Tsk... Cup owners... cheapskates....
I was just thinking that... I have the yellow 172 part of the Cup badge on mine, nice and subtle. Maybe they will be available when the 182 Cup comes out......;)
