^^ hehe.... not just me then..... The first courtesy car I had was a 1.2 8v..... that was frankly appalling.... the 1.2 16v is miles better. Quite a decent drive, but I agree about the steering - very light, especially after the 172, which is quite heavy for PAS imho....
The 182 is the latest model. Thats enough to make many people choose it over a 172, or indeed swap their 172 for one.........

The anticipation of the new corvette is not great, as far as Im concerned anyway. 400 Bhp is all well and good, but fuel at 80 pence a litre is not!!!
Practically the same as a MK2 172... look in the gallery.... 182 has slightly different seats, silver seatbelts and silver plastic trim on gearlever, steering wheel and above glovebox as opposed to silver with carbon effect on the 172....

Ive stretched the 172s legs against a 1.6 16v... there not too bad.... worth keeping imho as they are just about the rarest of the new shape Clios iirc (more Cups than 1.6 16vs!!)
Ive had a blat with one. A lot harder to kill than most of the VTRs Ive slaughtered. But then most of the VTRs round my way have 19" wheels and 10 tonne of ice.....
