If one of the coils has gone it will make the engine sounds crap and it will feel very slow. Sounds like lambda as said. Renault should be able to run a diagnostic on it to tell which sensor is foooked.

Warping shouldn't really occur unless your holding the pads on the discs when hot while stopped. So long as you didn't over cook them they should be better than the standard discs really

does sound a bit wierd has to be said. I'd love to know why renault OE CATS are sooooooooo expensive. Not even stainless. Hense why most people decat for about 100quid. You could get an orbisoud stainless system including cat for 1k. CATs are a bit rattly on 182s anyway, just live with it...

After thought, do you grease inside the boot itself, or just keep it clean and dry?

Just wondering, did you change over the pretensioners to the new ones? I had issues with mine because of the switch on the middle rail. If you swap over these that might do the trick. I swapped my old ones to the new seats and it was fine. Just a thought

Whats the best grease for these? When i dismantled the caliper and regrease with multi purpose grease the boots seemed different. Should I have used silicone based grease for this?

soap water and a stiff brush mate. Usually the best way. HP hose works well too

Hopefully the next meet is a bit dryer, less cold and less shitty weather generally. Then we would be able to see the true speed. All the modded cars spun wheels for fun on sunday. Some of the notes played were awersome though.

just thought it was a bit strange that halfords charge twice as much for caliper paint when VHT is essentially the same.

I'm going to use it on my calipers/disc edges. But whats the actual difference? Is it just the fact that VHT is matt?

Anyone know what the difference is? Got some VHT matt black last night for the calipers, but its half the price of actual caliper paint. What makes it more expensive?

the idea is that with a CAF on the front bumper, as you drive along, air is forced in and pushes it towards the filter. Cold air makes the engine run more efficiently hense the so called 'gain in power'. The air in the engine bay is in theory warmer, so sucking from there will be less efficient.

do a search on here and put in resistor pack. You might find one which relates to climate stopping all together.

resistor pack is the usual one mentioned mate. could try changing that. How long has it been doing it?
