something doesnt add up to me.... spend 4k on a 172, get rid one month later saying running costs/debts are the reason, then start asking about leon cupra r's fiat coupes, and other faster (dearer)motors........
you can get a rear shock, as i've had to buy one!!!!, a wee bit pricey (around 100 notes deleivered iirc)

i need a new kenwood head unit (as i have an existing changer)
don't really want to spend over 200 notes, but it must work with my steering wheel controls (2002 172 cup). Dosn't need to be nothing fancy ie bluetooth etc

well i've never heard of anything major being a problem. Engines on the whole seem bullet proof, only problems can be not having the aux belt changed around 35k... if not changed and it does fail, it has been known to take out the cambelt. Piece of piss to change on a cup too, and the belt...
you can usually hear when it needs a new cog lol, i reckon the shift light should have been in the middle of the two dials (where the stop service lights are), can't miss it then
