24bhp min and 41bhp max? have I got the wrong end of the stick.
As said 9bhp ish with cams. Roadworthy cams wont give huge bhp.
182 manifold diy job is cheaper and probably your next worthwhile mod.
aside from that have AWT do you an ITB package :)
ah, vindication. :approve:
182magoo - The engine mounts on both sides are going to need to be huge. Either that or your going to have to do some really really good strengthening work on the chassis legs each side and build in mounting points. It's just not worth it IMO.
You'd be better off...
fair enough, It's a good idea. But I do think this section is for projects and not speculation.
Back on topic, have you done any measuring up? I can't see you having any space problems as iirc DC2 engines are not tall and i dont think the engine box combo is too long - but still, measurement...
turinis provide wider track due to offset. They are still a 7" wide rim so surely they'd be a slightly better fit than standards (if that's possible lol).
Someone please correct me
Personally I hate them (on a for a clio - they would actually suit an RS4). Not for me at all.
I'm sure if you had a look you could find something similar amongst RS4 lookalike wheels you'll find em smaller.
Good luck :)
the 02J boxes are rumoured to be good for 330bhp.....
hope it lasts for you mate :) Just buy a few lol
The six speed you have currently - that's a diesel box iirc? or is it the audi TT box?
Wanted a six speed TT box for my project but have since been told that it's way too long (to get in a MK1...
It's a flamer kit guys. The previous owner(s) must have fitted it.
You remap or trick the engine to run rich and then ignite the unburnt fuel in the exhaust.
Interesting history ;)
pull the HT leads off the plugs. Rest the HT lead on the plug, then move then end away from the plug and see/hear if it's sparking on turnover.
If it's not a spark problem then It'll be a fueling problem probably (super rare)
Is that the one running the Megane F7R?? - if so link up the build thread :)
I've seen a REALLY sick build done by a prodrive director involving a Veedub and a megane F7R. SOOOO MUCH DOLLAR spent.
