Lag is the only disadvantage, but with the weight saved and the power gained, it's a small disadvantage.
agreed. Why stay renault. The amount of fab work is going to be that much you may as well go for a good jap Turbo 4 pot or the legendary VAG 20vT

The best way to get parts really clean is with a good degreaser and one of those specialist vibrating baths. iirc there are some other specialist chemical cleaners too. Not sure about sandblasting, it wouldnt be suitable everywhere...

no, not ok to drive. If you loose the grease out of the boots you will quickly wear the CV joint. Then you need new driveshafts. Plus driving with greasy discs is not the smartest thing to do.
If you work on cars yourself then whip the shafts out and get eurocarparts (or similar) to deliver you...
I've just built a media PC out of an old machine that my mum used to use. I'm going to put it in my new house and use it through the TV/hifi for 4OD, iPlayer, iTunes etc.
The 4 OD requirements are as follows
IE 5.5 - I have 6
WMP 10 - i have 11
NetFramework 2.0 - I have 3.5

not quite sure what to suggest. That join is normally pretty good. Are you sure it's blowing from the mani/CAT join?
Get the spring loaded bolts loose and wiggle it round a bit to get it seated better? then retighten evenly on both sides.

can I emphasise these are for a MK1 williams suspension setup on a valver.
