I didnt remove the system no. It has a 182 manifold and the (not so good) ktec custom length decat in there. Maybe that has twisted it a little. But there is defo a cut in it.

I've just replaced my rear exhaust mount with one that I bought off ebay. my previous mount had no rubber left in it pretty much and the metal snapped in half as i removed it. :S

The how fast do you want it to go? if you go for a golf there are so many variants that you can choose exactly what you want.
The only interesting thing you could try with clios would be:
a) Get a MK2 Phase1 clio and drop in the best DCi from a phase...
basically your destroying the speakers.
It's what speakers do when you push too much power through them. Turn the bass down and get a sub if you need it that loud.
Dont go for type R engines. The Gbox is on the other side and it will be a nightmare to get it mounted.

ive found that a 182 manifold was a worthwhile mod. although more work is required to fit than just a decat.
look into the new AWT (angel works technologies) CNC re-machined inlet manifolds.
I need a 1*2 skirt and possibly a cup spoiler I have doing in Iceberg.
Anyone on here fancy taking it on? or anyone know of any good places around banbury/MK/Northamton
or a rough idea of how much a skirt is likely to be sprayed up?

it will be to do with airflow and cold air feeds (CAF). If your CAF is too sharply bent or sucking warm air from somewhere in the engine bay then you'll loose power.
It's a shame to hear, I thought the BMC CDA was a quality product.
