i shouldnt imagine that'll be a problem thinking about it.
It's just a cut switch and you are taking it out of the circuit meaning the airbag is always off.
However, It would not be funny at all if the airbag went off, so i'd disconnect just to make sure.
On my Mk1 the resistor pack was built into the side of the blower. I'm not so sure if it is that, becuase all the resistors in there are bypassed if the blowers are set to full on the dials.
Have a poke around with a voltmeter - thats the best bet
well does the car work the heater blower
Connect it up and see if the car will power the blower motor, that'll give more clues.
Is the engine heating as it should?
I have heard of this before. Wrote off one of the engines in a company mondeo where i work.
Engine draws the water like it would air and then cant squeeze it on the compression stroke and so the rods bend.
thats looks like a good kit. I think you will get some of that sound you are after. Should make more noise than something like an ITG maxogen, and certianlly sound better than standard.
It'd be interesting to see where the mouth of it ends up and how much cold air it gets fed.
i thought about this when i was 17. It's an interesting idea. But the key is a good touch screen, the rest is easy
edit: also, powersupplies are another issue. You'll be hard pushed to find a PC powersuppy that takes 12v DC
"The hot exhaust gases break the solution down to form ammonia that splits the nitric oxides into inert nitrogen and water"
Does that not mean its going to smell really strongly of piss?
PROBLEM SOLVED :D :D :D :D :D :D :D
It was the lambda sensor. Picked up a nice new NKG for £54 and now it idles perfect, drives better and is more powerfull and responsive across the rev range.
SUPER CHUFFED
DONE IT!
S**T THE BED that was hard work :D
Dont know if you can see but the thead on the sensor is nearly completely smooth. Had a feel in the downpipe. It's ok. Not the sharpest thread i've ever felt but it's certinally all there.
My hands are killing me now
New sensor from MK...
i aint rich here ben!
Im selling my entire parts collection and my old car, and probably my guitar just to try and cover my freakin £1300 insurance bill.
I'm not eating this term at uni.
Think i'll be living off egg sandwiches and unflavoured water. NOW THATS DEVOTION TO A CAUSE!
Your gonna be...
After applying more torque than a VW V10 diesel, I have had some movement out of it. Used a make shift breaker bar over 1m long! About 10 little turns later it isnt getting any easier.
havent ruined the bolt head tho.
I'll just stop being a winging girl and get on with it!
you'll need another remap once the cams are on.
As for the parts themselves. Cat, Schrick, Ktec, kent
loads to choose from. I'm planning on getting schricks. As far as i can work out, they are all £650-700 for a set (parts only). High price due to the variable valve timing on the F4R i'm...
rainbows.
The DLS are the highest power, but I'd say they are gonna sound harsh and will take quite some driving for the bass to come through
rainbows for me
believe it to be done and need it out. Had a 22 on it and really been going for it but she wont budge.
ANy tricks, tips for a genie-arse?
It's not a reverse thread is it? that'd make no sense
back in a mo, i'll have another tug on it :quiet:
Cheers
