    PH1 Air Box

Ph2's are probably a bit more 'grown up'. Thats the best way i'd describe them.

    PH1 Air Box

Probably money, but maybe for induction noise reasons as well, or even the same design being used in another application already.

The chavvy ones that were on the car when i got it. God knows who makes them. they weren't wired up properly before. they've also got inbuilt daylight running leds that look 'ok', i've just got to find a permanent positive feed and get them hooked up as well. The angel eyes are now wired into...

There's one on the boot too. The bonnet has been up in the rafters of the garage for 6 months so it's a bit manky. It'll be de-stickered before the new ones go on :) Oh and... Just makes me smile.

I'm not keen on the tailpipe design anyway so it'll change to a single exit out through the bumper cut out. It's a lovely exhaust otherwise, so no need to change much.

She's all ready for her trip out tomorrow evening - even if her owner nearly had to cancel it today Need to say it's on coilovers at the back and standard up front still, plus the slope on the drive exagerates things a bit. In reality it's not that low. Hopefully pics tomorrow night...

Car goes off to get cage fitted this Friday so i'm in a mad rush on the two evenings i have free this week! Bonnet fitted again. All seems to line up. Amazing. Next up, I needed to remove the dash. Top bit was easy peasy, so that just left the bottom half. Steering wheel off, stalks off...

Petrol light on but got petrol

Your best bet is to fill it up to the absolute brim and see if it clears. Sounds like the floats got stuck or something.

i feel sick :( cambelt snapped..

Re: Cambelt issue.. new thread If it's broken already then let the guy have a go at fixing it. If he can't, then the cheapest solution for you would be to drop a second hand complete engine in there. There are two or three available on here priced between £300 and £600.

Road trip to Le Touquet Paris Plage, 56K!

Was a great read. I love threads like this. I know Le Touquet well as my uncle has a house about half an hour away. It is bloody expensive! There is a nice beach a few miles down the road which is much quieter and a bit nicer. As well as the classic car rally there is a round of the French...

    Anyone with Cobra X-Low subframes...

Seat frames back, all sorted: Andy charged me £30 which I was happy with. He's done a good job and even flattened off the horrible Cobra welds so the sidemounts sit flush. He was less than complimentary about the build quality, especially after I told him the original price!! Drivers one...

Thanks! I loved the colour scheme last night and having seen it again (briefly) tonight I love it even more! Everyone else that's seen it in the flesh has said the same so it's staying for now. The silver bumpers are already packed in the laguna to head north with me tomorrow! Seat frames...

Further progress. I'm getting there. Connected the battery up and drove the car off the ramps (). Topped up Pas fluid and filled the system up after turning the wheel. Almighty noise to start with, but it was slient after the fluid circulated. Good stuff. Managed to get covered in pas fluid...
