I have 4 new OMP sidemounts, so don't want to spend another £100 on 4 cobra sidemounts if I can avoid it. I think the issue is shortly to be resolved though as I'm off to see a blacksmith that thinks he can modify the cobra subframes.

Cobra mounts don't then bolt to Sparco seats apparently? Or so i've read. It's a gamble buying a set to see if they fit. :( I've decided the cobra xlow frames are s**t tbh. They bolt up OK to the car, but it looks like a blind man has done the welding.

Try ebay mate, loads appear on there. I'm after a bootlid, but they're all Titanium.

Front and rear bumpers are red along with the side strips and mirrors, but thats as far as it goes on the outside. The cage will be red as well (when it all goes in). I've still got all the silver stuff so can swap back if it ends up looking a bit naff, but so far so good (imo).

Home alone this week as parents are away (again). Spent all night on the car that started with some good progress and ended in frustration. First off I spent an hour or so bending the metal PAS pipe that connects the flexi pipe to the PAS pump. As I've mentioned before the PAS pump moves...

Then 'apparently' Cobra sidemounts don't fit Sparco seats. I'm buying metal.

What sidemounts do you use? I have 2 sets of OMP sidemounts, but they don't fit. :dapprove:

Moved to Clio projects, seems a bit more suitable for this section. That van is awesome.

With the aluminium block it makes them lighter than the m3. With the m50 the power to weight isnt worlds apart.

You will need a belt, just not an aux kit (2 different things)

If the Nikasil issue hasn't occured already then it unlikely it will now. I wouldn't let that put me off.

Yes, if memory serves you need the centre console bit as well and make sure it's from a coupe.

Has it got a 'Triangle' steering wheel in it or an MSport wheel? That'd be the first thing I'd change!
