02 sensor error may be becuase it's running rich on one cylinder?
If it was me i'd suspect ht lead or plug-spark outside of engine doesn't necessarily mean spark in the combustion chamber as pressures are a lot higher.
From memory there are 7 wires under the drivers seat 2 for airbag, 2 for seat belt pre tensioner, 1 for earth and 2 for seat recline switch.
Passenger seat thebsame but wothout the recline switch.
Clip is best as you can disable certain airbags. I believe you can reset the ecu after an airbag going off too.
If you have an airbag problem, once rectified, i'm pretty sure it should reset with the ignition off and on.
I have an Autel code reader for abs, airbag and engine faults that cost...
Trained as an automotive electrical engineer at Land Rover back in the 80's and worked on Range Range ICE in 1990!
Work as a maintenance engineer now for the large supermarket just off junc 4!
Got to be something really daft, the speakers are obviously fine, i can't see the wiring being faulty...
That's wierd, got to be a wiring problem in the car.
Sounds as if you have an after market head unit? Does it have a seperate an amp for the speakers? Or anything else like a hands free kit fitted?
I work at junction 4 on the M42 if you get stuck.
Ian.
Hi!
Just looked at my 200 cup and the aerial is about 8" long. My wife is parked next to me and hers (197 lux) is about 2" longer. Both are standard and both don't appear to have any reception problems!
There's usually two +12v feeds, one is permanent so you can listen to the cd unit with no key inserted-it then switches the radio off after 10 mins to save the car battery. There's also a 12v ignition feed to fire the cd unit up automatically when you start the car-sounds like this one isn't...
That's a real sxxt, she must be pretty bitter, not that it's an excuse. I had a girfriend like that about 25 years ago, she'd lose it over nothing. Still get a birthday card off her parents!?!?
What year is the meg, and what year did renault start using water based paints as i believe the solid...
Well, spoken to the customer services manager and they've put a claim in for me as several cars were damaged by trolleys left in car park spaces by lazy customers. They may say no, but i've nothing to lose.
Since then, my lad has finally decided he wants it, and he's not too bothered about the...
Had a 200, then a 182, then 197 and currently a 200 cup!
My lad is buying the cup off me in a couple of weeks so i've decided to go back to a 1#2 as i'm only doing 50 miles a week and have to park all day on a tesco car park.
I like the flame red and monaco blue 172 plus having a spare wheel...
I tried to get some wiring diagrams for the air bags on my lads 1.2, ended up buying a cd off ebay. I'd send you a file for it but don't have a cd reader any more!
Haynes manual is pretty good, but not sure it covers the 172 or 182 engine.
I had a warranty with my 04 Audi TT as the dsg gearbox was known for being a weak point and is expensive to fix.
Think it was warranty direct (one Quentin Wilson recommends) who i went with, but had an agreement that dsg box was covered for all faults-the catch was, it was £700 for 2 years and...
Apologies if i'm wrong, but for protected ncb you have to be fully comp?
Perhaps the policy was tpf&t because of the perceived cost saving?
As previously posted, i found naff all difference between tpf&t and comp-same on my bike policy too! Thought it was 'cos i'm an older git!
Quite a few of us jave done this, it really works well. My 182 had a heavy stainless rear box and it never sagged in 18 months.
Hope the tiger stuff works, post up some pics when you've done it.
Flame red, monaco blue are my faves.
Had a ti silver, got bored of it, wife has an albi 197 and i have a nimbus 200-bored of them too!
Funny how when you buy a 'rare' colour, you see loads on the road!?
