Easiest way to remove bottom Rad hose?

I normally just hit it from above with a pair of adjustable pliers, not really had any issues.

    Incredible NASCAR finish

That 1st video is like me on the PS3 when the AI is pissing me off "That can be cut, yeah that too"

Whats the most time you spent playing a game?

I must have spent years on the Final Fantasy series, but that's ok - I spent a lot of time in tree's as a child...

    The Watercooled PC Appreciation Thread...

I'd say anything up to £200 - I'd like the option of xfire in the future, however after using 3 cards - it will be two at most lol

    The Watercooled PC Appreciation Thread...

Black and red is so much win ! I need to invest in a new card drastically, anybody have any recommendations ? Preferably an ATI, was thinking the 7850/7950.

    changing speedo plastic clear front

My ph1's just clipped off, not sure if the ph2 is the same but to be honest, hitting it with a cutting compound will probably sort it

    The Watercooled PC Appreciation Thread...

I'm running it stock on the I7 so I don't think it will be going bang any time soon ;) Cheer's for the heads up though !

    The Watercooled PC Appreciation Thread...

Well I've since updated my setup, it isn't finished yet as I'm getting a new set of GPU's (3x 5770's scales badly and the noise is becoming an issue)

A few performance parts for the RS clios.

I remember reading a while back something about the pads having two different part numbers and there being a difference in them. I believe one needs filing down the edge's to fit correctly and one has slightly more surface area...

    Check my PC build?

They should all work with each other, what's the build for ? How much you looking to budget for case wise. Personally I would get a slightly higher rated power supply for headroom in the future. Im using the NZXT Phantom at the moment, great case - well thought through and good air flow. Big...

    Laptop screen problem.

Looking at the pattern I'd say it was the display wiring, sometimes the cable can rub and fray in the hinges on poor designs. Tried an external monitor ?

    Clio torque steer

The first time I pushed mine in 2nd I nearly ended up on the other side of the road, a mix of inexperience, crap tyres and shot trackrods more then likely ! Oh and one of the tyres was at 20 PSI !

    Clio & Corsa

I've put this one in an older thread but I think it's worth posting again: However I would simply invest in a new sticker to piss him off to no end, something on the lines of "I don't race s*****x corsa's"

    Windows 7 restore....

In situations like this I would normally try in safe mode to get the data off or do an install of windows over the current partition but without formatting it - then get your data off that way.

What's the cheapest that's been paid?

02 PH2 Flamer with 68k on the clock that required paint correction, a new grill and belt's/dephaser doing. Had new tyres all round and almost mint alloys, completely standard. Paid £650 or just over 1k if you include the belts etc.

    Quick one

Has anybody experienced a dephaser pully that's broken to the point it causes the SERV light to come on ? The thing sounds like a transit and has a rough kick over on the dephaser. I managed to get the light off but as soon as I blip the pedal it comes back on. Code readers not giving me much in...

Turning over Non start 182 54 plate

Best of luck with this fella, I've got the exact same issue with the ph1 - checked relays, done continuity tests on the loom. Still no start. Tried relays and new sensors all round.

    Clio 172's

I'm sure we have a thread dedicated to "Cup Culling Season" Every time the white stuff rears it's head lol In all honesty you won't notice a difference, Between the PH2 I've drove and the PH1 with no aircon and cup suspension the difference is negligible - My PH1 feels a little more raw at best...

    2001 172 - cruise control?

I've recently did this on my 52 plate, I believe the steering column required extra loom for the buttons that may or may not already be there.

    Radiator Plug Help

Hi all A flamer project I recently obtained had a leaking radiator, after checking it appears the drain plug was over tightened and it split the thread in half causing a leak, I checked the local scrap yards and they are all 1.2's which does not appear to have said plug ? You can see which...

    Non a/c kit - PH1

For me, cheaper belt changes plus removal of something that wasn't working/will never be used - plus in a silver car it really don't get that hot inside :) In a black car it's mandatory imo

    Ph1 or 172 cup

While I do like having the aircon in the heat we have had recently (Sport PH2) I always prefer driving the PH1 with cup aux setup - No idea why but it just feel's more special and raw.

    Bren's Sunflower 172 - Engine Rebuild

So was it a dodgy ECU in the end ? Mines doing the exact same thing, fairly sure it's not the loom or relays.
