Beat me to it, people are just honest with their perception - it's a great car for it's cost, it's difficult to go quicker for less - but it's not without it's flaws, such as tuning - it's already a highly tuned engine.

Most of not all who are doing 225 conversions go with aftermarket loom and ECU, I don't think coding the standard ECU is possible/practical. If you make it a hybrid engine with the 172 block it will mate up to the standard gearbox.

I think you are looking at the ICV, It control's the idle of the car. As above, the F4R does not have an EGR.

I had the silenced version fitted to my PH1 and it's not quiet (But then I've been driving the 1.4 for ages which is silent) I'd say I'm just old but I'm only 23 ! Mine wasn't visible after fitting.
