Yeah, I expected it would cost a fortune but then I thought low compression turbo's should need a little less work :P The car in question is a whole car, shell, engine etc and i'm sure with a bit of patience and ebay I can grab some part's pretty cheap. Injectors is a fair point I hadn't...
Some induction kit's can leave off the breather valve causing some foul smelling air to be sucked up into the car, mine had a bad smell of petrol and was causing my driving to get "interesting"
Not sure if one of the small breather valve filter's will stop the smell but it will help
Hi, All
Just woundering about the compression ratios of the Clio TCE, I believe it's 9.80:1 and mine is 10.00:1 - is this a massive diffrence ?
Anybody tried sticking a TCE on a 1.4 or a 1.6 before and what kind of gains (Im guessing around 20/25 ish and a bit of torque)
This is not...
Might be a long shot but anybody have an idea how much one will cost from seat, it's a semi-circle clip that connect's the boost pipe together :P Just saw it blow the clip apart, produces a fair bit of boost >.<
p.s It's a 140 2.0 TDI
That should be the breather pipe, it will lead to a metal "nozzle" coming out of the block near the throttle body, i think the origonal airbox will fit onto this but im sure another member can confirm :)
Only a few things it can be really, Either the springs are too short, dampers are too long or somehow your dampers are allowing more travvel then they should be. Or maybe the plates your springs sit on have sagged ? dont think thats possible though :) Maybe you could jack up the rear and post a...
Really hope they bagged who ever took it ! Funny how a forum (A good one mind) has done more than the police would have ever accomplished lol When mine was keyed to bit's they visited once and asked who could have done it and i never saw them again (If i'd known who did it i wouldnt be calling...
The TDC sensor is a common problem, its normally above the gearbox and sometimes it just needs a clean.

There's a pic, 2 bolt's get's it off :)
You could possibly hammerite the outside rims of the discs. Im guessing you are referring to the outside rims of the disk. If it's actual surface rust that should pass with breaking.
Cant see it being that effective though...
The Exhaust
The Bumper

Fitted
Finished (Look at upside down)
Purchased a new rear backbox mount and also exhaust sealent from NWPerformance (Highly Reccomended)
Good Luck (Cost me a total of £250, bumper, exhaust, spraying, mounts, sealent and cat to...
I've done the above, the KTEC kit does not fit the 182 bumper perfectly - mine ended up melting some of the surrounds. I will post the pics below of the work and what it requires :P
Hmm, normally after you empty the system and fill up the tank most of it will drain out into the system and radiator ect so the tank needs refilling. If that has already been done and you have drove home and its empty again it might be leaking.

Took a bit of finding :P You should also join Renault forums, very good for things like this :)
Does sound TDC related, it's normally working its magic above the gear box... bit hard to see but will be close to where the block and box join and should have a cable running to it. 2 bolt's, clean it up and check the connection to loom.
Not done one personally but that black tube running from the front to the plastic is part of the intake, if you take off the plastic grey cover it will more than likely be nestled under there.

Few pic's of the crank sensor there, Located above your gearbox, little hard to see as I think the block coolant pipes run by it.
Yeah, when mine went it refused to start and rev's went a bit crazy. Mine was down to poor connection, fixed by braking off the plastic and attaching the wires directly with some electricians tape.
