"chrome merc badgey thingy" on the bonnet was cleansed with Jeffs Werkstat Prime :) (an all in one ' clean polish protect' jobbie)

By the time you have snowfoamed with an apc mix or similar, washed, clayed, polished and cleansed, there will no wax left for you to worry about. Go ahead then with your fresh applications and layer as you wish.

Certainly is mate. VAX6131. Cost me around the £100 mark I think.. *edit - its a bit of a pain having to change the filters from wet to dry use etc and setting it up, but, overall, a tidy bit of kit.
