Waste of time IMO, just get one industrial scale and four wooden blocks of the same height for the same more accurate affect, still it would take forver swapping it about to get it balanced.
Cut a hole in the floor where the main hoop feet go, your going to have to plate it anyway so get the cage in then slide plates under the feet and weld in place for the cage to be bolted to.
i have heard its just a windscreen out and ratchet strap job..
Nothing petty about it, buy a car write an advert and create hype about it and put a big mark up on it, good for you to get away with it as said. Nothing malicious
Ssshh.
You should be fine, search SVA test. They basically use half a small bowling ball and rub it all the car searching for sharp points and places that could catch a head or a knee or similar.
The plate is on the boot so as long as its not night driving you are doing you should be fine.
I'm...
There you are then, I thought 100k was pretty mental.
Does that Hawk eye have all the weigh scales, Pharoe arm thing built in? ( for building a 3d drawing of all suspension pick ups)
Thats cheap, a geo at a specialist up here in Aberdeen is circa £130 + more for seized adjustments.
Hence why I pay the Kwik fit monkeys £40 and baby sit them or do it myself.
Hers a screen shot of one of the times I went to get the geo done, had nearer 5deg another time on one side before setting. Standard cup shocks and wishbones which were brand new and so was everything else.
And what 4 deg looks like > broken.
Yeah cups do have more camber standard it was just a comparison, the 1.5 degrees that some people say is all they can get is almost nothing over a standard 172.
Like I say, just twisting the camber bolt will not give you max achievable camber with Eibach bolts, you literally have to adjust them...
I don't plan to, you are keen to learn it seems but you really don't understand the basics so are very hard to help, tbh it just sounds like you want to talk about an ever changing problem from having a re read of this, massively conflicting.
I can't see anyone managing to help you tbh as your...
I can get 4.5 degrees camber on my cup so its a myth that you can only get 1.5 deg, you just have to push the wheels in while doing the geo and not rely on the bolt doing everything.
edit: lowering a Clio will have a very small effect on the camber or caster due to it being a Single wishbone...
wtf are you up to hahaha
You had a perfectly good car there with acceptable settings, new shocks and the rest replaced and you went and swapped back to different top mounts and shock absorbers?? Why?
You do realise that any time you touch anything in the front suspension and some times the...
I removed mine off the Clio yesterday and was really impressed as I was expecting to see the seals brittle and damaged but they were fine, I must have clocked up about 1000 track miles and 1000 road miles in between without even going near them. I was melting centre caps, spigot rings, and...
But then you can get a pair of callipers for less than £200 and hoses for £50 (front and back) which gives you a much more superior setup as the swept area and pad area are massive in comparison to K-tec, jam sport and who ever else uses that callipers with a different badge on them.
You could...
No basically, your tie rods and track rods will stay the same.
As for part numbers I'm not sure, I would contact Adam @ Wolverhampton Renault as he is the most reliable source and the cheapest too. Their in the trader section and know exactly what cup arms are.
Wasn't what I was expecting when I came in here tbh haha.
Drain the oil, remove the 3 bolts on the driveshaft boot, check the condition, if its torn its a new shaft but it might have just been pulled from the retaining ring. Then obviously fill it back up again.
^^^^^^ don't cut off any clip...
When did this @ stuff start?
I need to decide on a brake package then I'll know for sure, might need one set maybe two for mocking up. Will be before new TD season.
