Spacers knacker your scrub radius not your kit Mark, I didn't mean the opposite. Obviously wheel/spacer combo dependant but 25-30mm spacers will almost certainly knacker it.
Yeah that's what makes all the difference, the lower the offset you go the further forward the wheel travels hence mark saying doing it the proper way, knackers your scrub radius with big spacers
He has custom bottom ball joints or 'uniballs' as they are called, Marks kit is essentially a copy...
Yeah I know, I often read through spec lists and get bored half way through. In order to do this, you have to do this, this and this etc.
I would only go for the best standard fitted bits from the impreza range (i.e cheap) in the best combination then map it front mount. A few whiteline bits to...
Can you post some for sale links from the Subaru sites your on, Type R's and and RA's sound the best.
That guys Terzo did used to stick out against other Subaru's and iirc it was 3 door, was a Terzo 3 iirc.
What does an RB5 have that others done except the paint, wheels and intercooler spray?
Yeah its a classics I would go for.
All type R's are 2 door and STI ra's are 4 right?
Rawness is what I want, no ABS traction control etc would be a bonus as its just something else to go wrong and I prefer to drive without it.
And what do Terzo cars have special about them, a guy used to own...
I had sportlines, 16/205/45 tyres with an et 30 offset and only got rubbing with cup wishbones in really slow stuff, manoeuvring in car parks etc, the tyres will run through the bulbous piece of the arch liner that covers the bumper bracket and you will be fine.Anything more than 172 cup caster...
The DS3 got car of the year by many magazines iirc, don't think its as bad as you make out, I found the 1.4 okay on a test drive for my sis being that its a French hatchback. The price is another thing but cars are overpriced today.
Say 6k, doesn't need to be a minter mechanically but I would prefer if the running gear was sound.
Yeah that's the one, I remember Colin McRae and Nicky Grist were given one of the first few each, there's a few in Aberdeen and you would think they are turbo 2000's, they were really quick...
I know this much about () impreza's so keen to know. They aren't really my thing although I want to try 4x4 on track next year so I'd be best to buy the most track orientated one, spruce it up, kick its head in and sell it on.
The RB5 has quite a good spec too right? And what's the car they...
What's the best classic shape impreza to have in terms of standard spec and tunability for track, like Subaru's equivalent of the Evo RS or Renaults 172 cup?
That blob eye shouts out clocked to me for some reason. He sounds like a bit of a thrasher trying to sugar coat the car, maybe just me and one pic is not acceptable.
That venair stuff looks like cheap tat, you can see all the wraps of silicone. Looks like a ribbed dildo.
I would think or I would hope that's their price for out of stock to chase you off until there is more stock.
Call the delaler parts acting like you know what your on about, maybe have the diameters, thicknesses, part number to hand and maybe throw in your a mechanic and are shocked at the prices or any other banter you have, before you pay ask if they could maybe do some discount..... If he doesn't...
If you have cup arms then you can't go much further without running into issues. AST or custom top mounts/strut tops is your only other possibility after cup arms.
or cutting away your inner arch at the front.... Yeeee haaa
You have lost 1 degree of camber (easily fixed) and 0.2 of a degree caster or 12 minutes I.e a fud hair. Refreshing the front end will tighten things up and go one of two ways, slacken bottom ball joints, wishbone bolts and try moving everything forward then tighten it up with tension on and I...
They are definately not to the same machine quality as PMS or Turner but they look okay for 50 note, another £32 or £24 for nuts depending what type you wanted.
Fair enough I done a bit of seraching before when I was looking last time and came up with nothing at that price, not these style anyway. I'm guessing you know the sellers at that price, £3 per stud.
